Lovely cosy cottage ( Shame about the parking

Good location to the centre of Hawes and for the walks

There was no car parking outside the property yet there was a car that was parked outside for the duration of our stay . We had to park around the corner as Hawes was very busy Maybe also in the future don’t have carpet if you allow dogs as we could smell dog odour on the carpets

Very good

Compact but well-designed and nicely decorated with a peaceful atmosphere. Easy walking distance of the village facilities and access to walking routes. Although there was no car parking at the property I parked just a short distance away with no problems.

I thought it would have more of a view, it was a little boxed in by other properties. A neighbour's car was parked right in front of the bench outside the window, so you couldn't sit there, and no other outdoor space.

Great, really enjoyed it

Lovely central location, and pleasantly surprised to find a washer/dryer in the cottage. Only issue is lack of garden for pets but easy access to suitable walks. Car parking no issue in February

Lovely small cottage, ideal for a couple and little dog. Great location!

Great location. Plenty of things to do in the town, nice places to eat. Lovely walks.

Everything was great. Just wished I’d looked at the price on Sykes Cottages rather than booking in Booking.com as they were more expensive.

Would stay in Hawes again lovely area

I was attending a course and the location to the course was excellent. Very close to facilities. Cottage was very clean

Going in February weather was awful had the named storms. Cottage was a bit cold as had storage heaters

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and that it had everything we needed for the duration of our stay, extremely quiet and peaceful

Lovely clean comfortable little cottage and a perfect location in Hawes next to great little pubs ! Ideally located for all the local sights too . :-)

No parking at the property and had to park on road or in local parking and car was scratched.

A cosy and welcoming home - would visit again!

The Little Bower was a welcoming and cosy home away from home. The wood burning stove is an asset of the cottage, the bath was divine and the bed/bedding was like sleeping on a cloud!

Unfortunately there was a lack of hand soap at the cottage, during the current climate this was a little disappointing - nevertheless we had arrived prepared. A dish drying rack would be really useful.
