The hotel is in the middle of the mangroves, very calm and relaxing. The pool is really good. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a really nice balcony for enjoying the evenings just chilling outside.
The place is very big and the distance walking from the room to the breakfast area could be too much. The hotel has buggys for helping with that, but sometimes the waiting time is too long.

We stayed at this resort for 7 nights. We loved the really long pool and the gym. All staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Plenty of towels and drinking water supplied each day to the room. We appreciated that we were immediately moved to different rooms when we complained about loud ongoing renovation noise nearby. The egg station during breakfast made very good omelettes, fried eggs, etc. You can also order a la carte Asian food dishes and the coffee machine does some good cappuccinos (although a bit too cold). We enjoyed the fruit for breakfast. We saw monkeys, lizards and enjoyed the quiet surroundings. It did not bother us to catch Grab cars to Ao Nang, which was very easy and only took 10 mins.
The rooms are very very dark, the furniture is dated and the lighting in the rooms is poor. Because it is so hot and humid outside you are pretty much trapped inside the dark room. The mattress is too hard and there are no other chairs to sit on inside the room. We felt quite uncomfortable when spending time in the room. The breakfast was OK if you prefer western style. All bakery items (bread loaf, pastries, etc.) were stale and hard every day. I do not think management understands how western bakery works, that fresh bakery needs to be served every morning. Also, when offering western dishes such as egg benedict, I would recommend the chef learning how to make it. The bacon is made from chicken, which we did not like.

Aesthetically nice, breakfast is good
Poor communication, poor customer services, wasted alot of our time with their mistakes. Wait along time for service of any kind. Lunch and evening meals mediocre. No alcohol
