Ein historischer Hotelbau aus dem 18.Jahrhundert mit Original Rokokkoausstattung im kleinen Frühstücksaal. Unglaublich. Gelegen am kleinen historischen Hafenbecken im Zentrum von (Bad) Karlshafen, einer Gründung des hessischen Landgrafen Carl für hugenottische Glaubensflüchtlinge. Ein Erlebnis.
Leider inzwischen nur noch Frühstück. Es gibt aber mehrere Restaurants in fußläufiger Entfernung.

Das Hotel ist einfach sehr außergewöhnlich in seiner Atmosphäre, Wir waren schon viermal dort und werden immer wieder diesen ungewöhnlichen Ort besuchen. Er ist eine absolute Rarität. Das Städtchen und das Umland - wunderschön!

Voor wie wat nostalgie verdraagt de beste keuze. Historisch hotel met veel charme. Prachtig gebouw op fotogenieke ligging. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Zeer ruime kamer met groot kwaliteitsbed, prachtig uitzicht op de haven. Uitgebreid ontbijt met veel keuze in historisch salon. Achter het pand is ook een charmante tuin.
Alles was zoals ik gehoopt had. En dan beter.
