About this condo rental
Situated in Oak Island, this lovely condo for $350 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Come enjoy Shore to Please and all of its amenities. It is the perfect place to relax with family and friends. The condo complex has a large pool, hot tub, elevator, only 28 units and is centrally located. Pool and hot tub is scheduled to be open from May 1 to October 15. In minutes you can walk to the beach, DQ, Redbox, Food Lion or various restaurants / bars. When inside the condo, you can get into vacation mode watching YouTubeTV with DVR and Netflix or taking advantage of the many games, movies or other items provided. The fresh condo is light and airy with high ceilings. The kitchen is very well stocked for large groups and cooking. When not enjoying multiple smart TVs or relaxing inside, the secured storage shed under the unit will provide you the items you need outside. Multiple beach chairs, boogie boards, skim board, bocce ball set, kids shovels / buckets, kites, pickleball equipment and kayak are available for use. The unit provides parking under the condo and is conveniently located next to the elevator. The large covered deck overlooks the pool and does not have ocean view. If you want to venture out, tennis courts, pickleball courts, miniature golf, a skate board park and public park are less than a mile away. The public Oak Island Golf Club is 3 miles away. There is no thru-street on our side of the complex, so it is safe and quiet and there is a path directly to the beach. Condo has keyless access. Our goal is to keep the condo looking and feeling new so NO PETS and NO SMOKING are allowed. We have owned and rented the unit with agencies for over 10 years and decided to try VRBO in 2020. Linens included. Condo complex is Palms at Long Bay.

We enjoyed everything about this condo. Great location - short walk to beach and walking distance to Food Lion and multiple restaurants and shops. Condo was A+ clean. Plenty of supplies for all necessary items. Rooms are very spacious. Cozy place all around. Paul was an excellent host.

Our stay was excellent. The condo was clean great location, great communications with the property owner, he left a nice bag of chocolates to welcome us.

My family has a wonderful time at Oak Island staying in this condo. Everything we needed was either provided by the property owner or within walking distance. The weather cooperated during our stay, so our kids were able to make use of the pool and/or the beach every day we were there. We also made use of the board games and tvs provided in the condo by the property owner.

The view from the balcony was the side of the next building or the back of the nearby shopping center. The ocean view is only if you set up chairs outside the front door. Otherwise the place was great. Lots of beach gear to use. Short walk to the beach. Everything in the condo seemed to work as expected. I wish our family of seven had more than six towels provided but that seems common for VRBO condos. Several food and shopping options were close by. Hot tub jets don’t work but the water was hot.
Other than the balcony view we would stay here again.

First, Paul was an amazing host. Very responsive to any questions asked, found a nice welcoming treat upon arrival and very flexible with early check in (I know this is easier off season but still very nice to have). The location is perfect, a quick walk to the beach and near several restaurants. Southport is a short drive if you are looking for some cute shops and additional restaurants. As others have mentioned, the beds and furniture are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. I think eventually the carpets could use some updating (some stains throughout the condo) but this wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

Absolutely everything is thought of for your stay here. There wasn’t one thing that we needed that wasn’t already provided. Clean, lots of space, wonderful host commutation. A very short walk to the beach. You will be so relaxed here that you’ll feel at home without the stress.

We loved the condo and the location! It was clean, beds and furniture were comfortable, porch was great for hanging out. There were several excellent restaurants within walking distance, and everything in Oak Island was easy to get to. It was also super easy to get to the beach. Property owner is very responsive. Highly recommend!

Spacious 3bdrm condo with everything you could need. Host goes above and beyond and it was appreciated! Very short walk to beach making those early morning and evening walks on the beach a breeze! The outdoor covered patio was wonderful for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Elevator for ease getting everything up to second floor and for those who can’t do steps. Very close to 2 different clean grocery stores. Mattresses were very comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat!

The kids loved the hammock on the balcony!! Loved the fact the beach is right there. Like a 3 minute walk!! Very handicap accessible which is a plus for us, since our oldest is handicap! We had an absolute blast. It rained & was very cold majority of the time but Paul had a big closet full of games & we all enjoyed the family time together! Would deff stay again! Very clean. It is also very well stocked. We arrived on a day the air was leaking & he reached out immediately to tell us it was being fixed! Very awesome owner!

We were very impressed with Paul's condo. It had plenty of room for us, 6 adults and one toddler. The outdoor space was wonderful; so nice to sit out there in the mornings with my coffee and relax. The proximity to the beach was a very short walk. Overall, our stay was great, Paul was accommodating and easy to reach and I would definitely recommend this place!

We really enjoyed the property. Very clean and well though out! So many nice things available to help enjoy the property. Example: Extra fans in each bedroom for great white noise. The location was great! The owner Paul was great to work with and communicated very well.

This property is incredible! The amount of time the owner has put in to make sure you have everything you need, is amazing. I have never been in such a well-stocked place. We had 8 in our group: 4 adults, 2 teens, a child, and infant. We had plenty of room! The property is very close to the beach, grocery store, and those souvenir “beachy” shops that everyone loves, walking distance to each! The owner was very responsive to any questions I had. We would absolutely stay here again! Shore to Please is such a perfect name for this property.

This is our 3rd time staying here and it was great as always. You can't beat the location - both to the beach and local shops/restaurants. The property is kept in excellent condition and the extra amenities are fantastic.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at this property. Paul was very responsive and the condo had lots of great info. Location to beach was even better than expected - a very short 5 minute walk. The pool is wonderful. The condo was very clean, even up to snuff for my very particular father in law!
We ate at the restaurant at 59th and Oak Island Dr. (can't remember the name) and it was very good. The Lazy Turtle down the road was not good at all, food was all shipped in frozen once/week.

This was a very nice place! Spacious, comfortable, extremely clean and close enough to walk to the beach. The owner was very responsive to all my questions and went to great lengths to provide all the comforts of home. Everything was fully stocked and my family and I enjoyed our stay very much. My son already wants to come back next year.

Spacious, great location, clean
We'd give this condo 6 stars if we could. It's very spacious, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location on the island. The path to the beach is in a spot where it's not crowded, we loved that we could walk to places, and the pool is great for kids (nice 4 inch area and nowhere is over 5 feet). Paul was super communicative and we had zero issues. This condo truly exceeded our expectations, and we hope to come back if the stars align!

Long Weekend
This property was just as described- clean, well-stocked, and close to the beach. Although we did have an internet problem Paul went above and beyond to try to get it fixed even sending a friend over to try and help. I would stay again and suggest you do too!

This was probably the best vacation our family has ever taken. The property was amazing. So clean, well stocked, and a family friendly environment. We loved everything about it from the short walk to the beach, the pool and hot tub, and just relaxing in the condo. Oak Osland is a treasure we were so happy to find. Will definitely be back!
