About this condo rental
Situated in Chincoteague Island, this charming condo for $200 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Located on the deep waters of the Assateague Channel with a view of the Assateague Lighthouse. This two bedroom, one bath condo with spectacular views is the perfect spot for fishing, boating, kayaking, bird watching, crabbing from your private dock, soaking up the sun and salt air breezes. This sleeps up to six people with one queen bed, one double, and two twin beds. If you love fishing, sitting on the porch, listening to the waterfowl, or watching the Assateague ponies or dolphins swimming by, this is where you want to be on your vacation. Very comfortable, clean and bright, with central air-conditioning and heat. Newly re-modeled with original artwork and beach decor. Dock your boat in our 21 foot boat slip and clean your fish at one of the two fish cleaning stations. Enjoy your catch of the day while stargazing on the floating dock . We had such a wonderful time! The condo was beautiful and the view from the dock was incredible! Steve, the host, was very responsive to any questions we asked. We would definitely return!

Location is easy to find and quite lovely. Had a bit of trouble with the lockbox system, but texting with the owner worked everything out. Loved the reserved parking space!
Condo is smallish and no entryway; you enter immediately into the bunk room with beds abutting the door. The condo is nicely, if simply, decorated and VERY clean. Kitchen is well equipped.
The condo is quite noisy. The near-constant noise from a dehumidifier (?) was awful. There are pointed instructions to NEVER turn the unit off, so it runs almost all the time.
There is light pollution from lights on the parking side. The installed blinds and sheers are not enough to make the bedrooms dark enough for quality sleep. There are also not enough blankets. Fortunately, we brought extra!
There is a lot of extra "stuff" and equipment in the closets which should rightfully be kept in an owner's closet or off-premises.
The condo fronts on the channel between Chincoteague and Assateague and it was a source of daily fascination to watch the boats come and go, view the birds, ponies, and - twice! - watch a small pod of dolphin swim in with the tide! Would suggest this condo for atmosphere, wildlife viewing, photography, and, of course, if you have a boat... if not necessarily for "peace and quiet".

This lovely little condo was just perfect for our little getaway. The view of the channel was gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio/deck reading and bird watching, and even took our morning coffee out onto the dock to watch the sunrise. The kitchen and living room were also a real pleasure to spend time in. The whole place was clean and comfortable, the shower pressure was good, and the location was peaceful and quiet. Steve was helpful and responsive, and a great source of local info (Cruise w/ Daisy's! Eat at Bill's!) We are already looking forward to returning.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the waterfront condo. We loved having coffee out on the deck and watching our kids crab from the dock with the ponies and lighthouse in the background. Super quick drive to the beach. The unit is nicely updated with a large comfortable sofa for the whole family and a nice bright kitchen. Bedroom layout worked our great for our family of 5 with the 3 kids in their own room. The AC worked great and it was nice to have the humidifier as well. We hope to return soon!

We had never been to Chincoteague before. Our stay was perfect. The condo was clean and neat. I would describe this as the quieter side of the island. We fished, crabbed, kayaked and took in the beautiful scenery with peace and quiet right outside out back door. Just what we needed to do before the school year starts.

Property was great rental. Owner very commutative. Only one thing I didn’t like was you couldn’t use golf carts on the island without tags seatbelts and windshield wipers. No golf cart comes with that and it’s a low speed vehicle.

The view from the back sliders to the back porch area could not be beat. We had an up close view of the dock, with the lighthouse in the distance. Our space was cleaner than clean. The bed was super comfy and had good device charger access at bureau. It was a very short drive to restaurants and nature preserve. Neighbors were quiet. Owner was super responsive but we did not need a thing.

The stay was awesome! The dock was awesome went a sat out there all hours of the night to star gaze. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. And the rental was very clean, easy to get to, and just all around nice.

My mother and I have been traveling to Chincoteague together for a few years now. We were delighted when we discovered Steve's place at the Sea Tag. It is a perfect little space on the water. It is comfortable, inviting, very clean, and you can't beat the view! We love this place and will continue to come back year after year!

The Off-Season stay was great. It's obvious that the town picks up a bit during warmer beach season, but there were plenty of things open despite the cold weather. It took us one night of being a bit cold to find the remotes for the individual room heaters/coolers and it was a bit odd to have the front door open into the children's bedroom, but the stay was secure, clean, and relaxing. WiFi worked great; Check-In was super easy; and the neighbors were super friendly.

Great stay with incredible sunset and island views! We appreciated the spotless kitchen - our daughter has celiacs disease so being able to cook our own meals is crucial. Also folks might want to know the shower area looks brand new. Everything was great. It was off season when we were there but the neighborhood was very quiet which we enjoyed. Dont forget to pack your sheets/towels. :)

Loved the home my son and I stayed in. We especially enjoyed the beautiful dock that looked out over the lighthouse at Assateague. We were able to see the wild horses roaming around. Sunrises and sunsets were fantastic there as well. The house was extremely clean and well kept. It was a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys life on the water.

This 2 BR condo was immaculate, updated and had more amenities than we needed on a beautiful waterfront venue. I'd highly recommend! Sketchy internet but that's to be expected when you are away from the hustle and bustle-if you have your own hotspot or LGE you should be OK. A little noise from upstairs but not during sleeping hours.

First off Steve was very quick to respond to messages. The condo was very clean, not a speck in site. Everything that you would need was there in a well supplied kitchen. The bathroom was very clean, looks new! If I did have one suggestion Steve it would be a grab rail into the shower just for us older folks! The queen bed was a little too soft for my bad back but it was fine for my wife. The living room and dining area are very spacious and comfortable, just as a shore cottage should be. Now the absolute best part? Waking up at sunrise to a fresh cup of coffee and taking in that marvelous view and smelling that air! Then at sunset sitting out back with you favorite beverage and the sky turns all shades of orange, red and pink . Would absolutely stay again.

The owners website was spot on and some. It’s everything we were looking for. The rooms were very clean and tidy, everything we needed was at the Codo. Loved being 40 feet the water from our door step and fishing 🎣 right from our private dock. The 🌅 and rising moon 🌝 over the lighthouse were the icing on the cake. Everything was close by,, the beach was awesome as well,, just a short drive and your there walking the beach and watching Island Ponies. The property was just as described. The views were absolutely amazing and the location was great- a short ride to the beach and restaurants. My son and husband rented scooters and rode them into town.

The listing indicates washer/dryer when, in fact, there was no w/d but there was a laundry at the end of the facility requiring quarters to use that we didn't bring with us. The beds were terribly lumpy causing backaches and lack of sleep. The floors needed vacuuming that I completed as there was too much sand and debris on all the floors. The view of the harbor was terrific from the unit giving us feelings of calm. It is a hassle bringing your own towels/sheets since we were tired from the trip and had to make the beds before retiring. We both became ill upon arrival and spent the entire week unable to enjoy the beach, shops or any tours. Bummer!

This was a great property for our family to enjoy beautiful Chincoteague Island. We enjoyed watching the sunrise on the back porch and all of our activities were five or ten minutes away.

Our happy place!
We loved our stay!! There were lots of THOUGHTFUL additions like hooks in the shower, a dehumidifier so towels dried, and a picnic table that can be easily wiped off. When we weren't out on our boat or at the ocean we were on the large dock fishing or crabbing. The deep water floating dock is a bonus for boat owners! We have stayed in a few different places on East Side Road and would definitely come back to this one :)

Beautiful view
The condo was just as pictured and the view was breathtaking!!! We came down for a relaxing bachelorette party and we all had a wonderful time sight seeing and relaxing!!
