Excellent breakfast and lovely to be greeted with tea/coffee and home made cake. Fantastic location. Clean and comfortable. Lovely owners who made us feel very welcome and at home. We were travelling with our elderly dog, who was also made very welcome. We will certainly return.
The room we booked was the last one available and we knew it was going to be small with a separate but private bathroom. It was perfectly clean and comfortable but I would, personally, prefer a larger room with en-suite facilities next time.

Breakfast was bookable the night before required
And it suited us much better. We were able to request all the things we like and have every day at home. I had grapefruit segments a banana with yoghurt Honey and cinnamon & a soft boiled egg with toast from home baked bread - how excellent is that.
The bathroom was away from the bedroom down a small flight of stairs - although private and well lit
Not good for two elderly ladies having to negotiate
Stairs in the middle of the night. Bathrobes were supplied. The room was not serviced.
