It was on the perfect location. It is a hostel, but after staying in many of them, it is definetely among the better ones.
Beds were clean, staff was friendly, the beach is at your doorstep and the kitchen with the view is just amazing

It is the best place to base oneself in whilst in Salvador. Just right across the Barra beach and next door to many restaurants and supermarkets. Only a bus ride away to the historic centre (Bus 1001 - Placa de Se). Dormitories were huge and the rooptop common area/kitchen is great.
The hostel is mostly visited by local tourists so the staff barely spoke English but google translate does wonders. Always keep your things - from expesive to the cheap ones - in the locker! As guests come and go fast, I learned my lesson the hard way. So do not let your guard off just because everything seems fine. No.

Great location with tons to do around. Great view though it no longer looks like the pictures. Has a great chest to keep valuables but you pay extra for towels and bedding.
Poorly cleaned and guests were impolite
