A beautiful period property with a lot of the original features still. Ty Hen is clean and has a homely feel to it, a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Lovely host who ensured we had a lovely visit.
The living room was a lot cooler than the rest of the house but in our trip it was welcomed as we visited in a heatwave! But that would be from the original feature of the fireplace. It would be lovely if that could be used and would make a great feature to have it useable in colder conditions.

Location was great for exploring where we wanted to visit, parking was convenient. Walking distance from supermarket for provisions.
Only comment would be it was heatwave and only one window upstairs could be opened. I like air when I’m sleeping and it felt a bit hot and stuffy for me. Would not have liked to sleep in the other bedroom as window didn’t open.

The cottage was clean and tidy
You learn to duck early on. The rooms are small and there was no shower, the bath was not used as one can’t stand up in it without hitting the ceiling.
