This place has it all - western beds, Onsen, friendly staff? ski in & out and a great breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

G Square is a great place to stay. This is our second stay here , we liked it so much we extended our stay ! I am sure we will stay again. G Square has a great ski lodge atmosphere . The buffet breakfast is sumptuous with good food that sets you up for the day on the slopes . This is a true ski in ski out lodge. You literally ski from the front door to the gondola and other lifts 1 minute away . The facility has self catering for evening meal if you want with a shared fridge , stove and kitchen ware. We had a lovely sunny room that looked up the mountain . The facilities are clean and practical .G Square is in the quieter part of town with with good restaurants and bars very close. Ski hire and ski school next door . The manager and staff all speak English and they are very friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay memorable . In our case the Manager helped us with some travel arrangements , booking the Black Cat ski courier and some other difficult urgent matters that needed translation. We are very thankful for his help beyond the call of his other busy duties . We have traveled and skied a lot in Japan . G Square rates as one of our favourites .

Location is awesome. Staff were super friendly and happy to help with anything. The breakfasts were a real surprise - the variety and quality of food was so good and yuumy.

Instructions for arriving by own transport and where to drop off luggage and where to park could have been made a lot clearer.

Ski in/out. Near to ski lifts. Simple buffet breakfast.

The main issue during my stay was the water supply. In the morning there was no water for about 10 minutes, which was inconvenient given that the toilets are shared. The water also comes out yellowish at first, so you need to let it run for a while before it’s usable. Also note that there’s no lift in the property, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs.
