Great location
The house didn't feel 100% clean, this includes the hot tub. Two of the beds were broken. However, I believe the guests before had made a mess. The shower had to be replaced. Only one working shower and the taps upstairs were the wrong way round.

The conservatory, dining room, and garden are lovely to relax in. The location is great, just a 2 minute drive away from everything.
There is a lot of upkeep needed on the house.
The oven doesn't work properly, the lock came off the bathroom door, the wallpaper is hanging off in a lot of rooms as well as the paint being scratched off. There were oven gloves provided but they were as good as useless as thr heat went through which means we had to buy our own.
The beds were really poor quality, 5 of the beds were broken in some way and the rest were extremely uncomfortable with springs sticking out.
The balcony being out of use should have been advertised at the point of booking as this was a key reason for booking the property.
A lot of thr chairs are ripped or broken.
The bedrooms are not as advertised with multiple beds being small camping beds and one of the rooms being picuted twice as multiple double rooms even though it is instead a twin room.
The shower downstairs when the detachable head is turned on shoots up to the ceiling and soaks the bathroom.
In general, there is a lot of uncleanliness, such as two pairs of boxers being found in the bed and large cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, and the rug and sofa being stained.
The house is advertised as child and pet friendly, however, there are no safety locks on the windows and there was heatwave where the windows had to stay shut due to a 2 year old being in the house. Additionally, there is no gate separating the front and back garden making it not friendly for a toddler as well as the front gate being broken. Also, most of the doors in the house don't shut and there are niknaks in a lot of the drawers so cannot be used.
