Location was extremely remote, but absolutely beautiful. It was cleaned to a very good standard with plenty of outside space. Well equipped with very comfortable beds.
Could not find a hairdryer. Would have been handy to have some salt and pepper available. I know that’s only a little thing but for a short stay I tend not to take them with me.

Lovely part of the world, cute looking lodge which is well kitted out, cosy and has a spacious garden with sun patio and sitting out. Very handy for the nearby Mortimer walking trail and Croft Castle. Short drive to Leominster for supplies. Lots of building work going on in the main house - banging and drilling, but it didn't really bother us. Make sure you are confident at reversing on single lane tracks as access to the lodge is 2.5 miles of very narrow lane.
If we had known there was no WIFI or phone signal we would not have booked the lodge as we were an emergency contact for a child. It did spoil our stay which was a real shame. But if your vibe is being cut off from the world, then it is perfect! The beds are ok, but the duvets are like weighted blankets and massively heavy - very odd - never come across it before anywhere we've stayed. The lodge is basically ok, but we were disappointed and thought it was expensive for what it was at £150 a night.
