There are many restaurants and cafés in the charming villages and numerous wineries to visit, markets for fresh produce and so many activities for adults and childen. Marseille and its port, Cassis and other beaches are within an 1.30 hrs drive and you have the magical Camargue area to visit with it's beautiful wildlife, horses, flamingoes and wild bulls. Nime and Arles are not far either with their history and Aix en Provence, Avignon are definately worth a days visit.
