We travelled by car. Domenico gave us detailed information about the free‑parking areas before our arrival. Luckily, we found a parking spot very close by.
The room is a little compact, yet the location could not be better. Turn left when going out, and you are right in the city‑centre. After evening sightseeing, we could get back to rest very quickly. The room was spotlessly clean. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay.

We picked this accommodation for it's location, a short walk to the main tourist area in Tropea and it was a decent price for a very popular destination. Tropea did not disappoint; the Sanctuary Santa Maria dell'Isola is everything you'd expect and the Centro Historico is great, with lots of interesting alleys and areas to explore. If you have mobility issues beware - it's a lot of steps down and then back up to get to the Santuary and the old town is mainly pedestrian. The room was small but clean with an adequate bathroom. There's a nice big balcony to sit on outside the room, very pleasant for lunch. There's also a communal kitchen, which we didn't use. Breakfast is at a cafe, a few metres up the road, and they provided me a good selection of pre-packed GF foods.
Parking is a lottery, on the road outside, but we didn't have any issues. The entrance is dire, dirty and run down, but the internal facilities are better. We didn't see the host at all; we met an American couple who were staying at the same place, they had been there a while and seemed very unsure what to do. Through WhatsApp, we got instructions from the host and sorted ourselves (and our American friends) out - not the welcome I'd usually expect. Everything else was okay. The host was chatting with the American's at the breakfast cafe as we left.
Seaview?? Yes you can see the sea but it's very limited - don't expect anything better than the photo on the website.
