The inn itself was what we expected, being an antique building with yesterday's charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable and there were two sitting rooms on the first floor plus a large wraparound porch.
Our room had the unusual setup of having a “private bath” but that was across a common hallway from the bedroom. It was truly private only if we locked the door to it, otherwise anyone could have used it if they chose to. We were staying two nights, Friday and Saturday with a Saturday evening wedding, and when we asked for fresh towels for Sunday morning since we had showered late on Saturday prior to the wedding, we were told they don’t provide them for a two night stay. At more than $250 a night we expected better quality than the thin towels that were provided and assumed fresh ones would be set out. The inn’s young manager did provide them for Sunday but we really shouldn’t have had to ask or have been made to feel like an exception was being made.

The staff greeted me with a smile and were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I was too pressed for time to stay for breakfast but when I go back I'll be sure not to make the same mistake.

Quant and quiet, and a great front porch. Close drive to restaurants, shopping and great parks but in a very quiet small town. Walking distance to a nice grocer with anything you may might need during your stay.

The breakfast was okay. Undercooked bacon and rolls were raw in the middle. Fruit and coffee were good. Staff was very nice.
The room was awful. Closet had an ac unit and an old mirror stored in it. Zero room for clothes. No dresser either. The toilet and tub were 7 inches from each other. You could barely walk by to get to the sink. I kid you not your knees were jammed against the tub when you sat on the toilet. There was barely room to walk around the bed. No room to put your clothes anywhere. No dresser and zero closet space.
Almost $300. Way too much for such a run down room.
