Great location and attentive host, but basic with comfort issues.

Pros: Excellent location right in the historic old town with everything just steps outside the door. The owner is friendly, responsive, and clearly wants guests to have a good stay.

Cons: The apartment is quite basic, with furnishings more in line with a youth hostel—hard mattress and only one thin pillow per person. There were also no basic kitchen items (salt, pepper, sugar), which would have been helpful. The unit lacks proper windows (only opaque glass facing a courtyard), making it feel dark and somewhat claustrophobic. It also felt consistently damp—towels never fully dried—and there is no proper bathroom ventilation. Be aware that some amenities shown in photos are not actually available. A washing machine and counter stools appeared in the listing photos but were not present during our stay. While the host noted the washer isn’t listed, it was a key factor in our booking, so double-check amenities rather than relying on photos. We also experienced persistent mosquitoes inside the apartment despite keeping doors and windows closed, which affected sleep.

Lovely apartment stay in a great location, highly recommended.

Location is superb. Far away from the crowded spaces and yet literally minutes into centre of town, close to all attractions as Valletta is very walkable, handy location to harbour for fast ferry to Gozo. The apartment felt very homely. Good direct communication and instructions with the hosts, brilliant service!!

TV didn't work for us, but wasn't a big deal to bother the hosts with as we were out late anyway.
