Well equipped apartment. Lovely fire. Good garden.

Only given half the keys via keybox as we arrrived late and had to unload luggage and dogs via a window as stairs from main door too steep to carry anything. Timeconsuming having to schedule to meet to give and return the deposit. I expect this to be done electronically. I didn't want these inconveniences interupting a short stay. It's value for money given the location and nice living/kitchen area but the bedrooms and bathrooms are small and the stairs are very difficult.

Firstly, the hosts Gilbert and (Séverine-in resort) were outstanding. Gilbert would always respond straight away to any questions, and in the knowledge that we were attending with our granddaughter (11 months), he purchased a travel cot and high chair prior to arrival. In resort, you can communicate with Séverine by WhatsApp and translate messages to French. The apartment, particularly the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need with good quality appliances and utensils. The social space is large and a great place to eat as a family, then relax in front of the wood burning stove with views over towards the Agui de Midi. As we went in winter, we did not have use of the swimming pool area, but again, this is in an ideal setting, south facing with beautiful views. Although Argentiere is much quieter than its cosmopolitan neighbour Chamonix, the rest of the Chamonix Valley is easily accessed by the train and bus which are both in close proximity to the apartment. Overall we had a fantastic vacation and we would highly recommend.

Although this has not affected my 10/10 review it is worth knowing. The stairs to the upstairs double bedroom and bathroom are very steep and may not be suitable to those less able (There is however an alternative entrance door to the apartment on this level from the internal building stairwell) The apartment is adjacent to the 'Office Bar' who host live music events. Although their building is well sound proofed, their kitchen door backs onto the apartment and when opened the music can be heard. This would not be an issue for most guests as they too would socialise beyond these hours.

Very cosy and well- equiped apartment in the heart of Argentiere with amazing view to the mountains. The beds are very comfortable, fire place is super. Highly recommended!
