Located in Brewster, this lovely cottage for $212 per night is a great choice for your next break. *Cancellation policy at end of property description.* Charming Brewster cottage, two bedrooms and one full bath. Quiet setting in a desirable area of Brewster, enjoy the screened porch and cozy living area. Enjoy your stay in this quaint Cape Cod Cottage and the short Walk to private association bay beach.All rentals are subject to our $295 Administrative Fee plus applicable state and local taxes. Linen package available for 4 upon request at an additional cost of $140.00 Cancellation Policy: If the Commonwealth of Massachusetts bans short-term rentals, you would receive a full refund. Otherwise, our standard cancellation policy is in effect: In the event of cancellation for any reason, please contact us immediately followed by in writing. Written notice of cancellation must be accompanied by payment of a $295 cancellation fee to Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, which may be charged to a credit card. Upon Notice of Cancellation, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty will endeavor to find a substitute tenant. In the event a substitute tenant is found, monies paid in advance will be refunded, less a 20% service fee of the total rental amount due. You herein acknowledge that you will only be entitled to a rebate only if you give written notice, pay the cancellation fee and the property is re-rented for the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement. For your protection, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty recommends the purchase of Optional Travel Insurance provided by CSA. In the event the property does not rent for the same terms, all Guest payments for the entire agreement amount are due and forfeited to the owner.

The house is much cuter in person than in the photos and with an updated tv and toilet. The rental price is very fair considering most of the house is not at all updated and will remind of what your (great) grandmother's house looked like 30-40 yrs ago (ex orange trash cans with floral stencil and vintage linoleum. It's very close to the beach and fun so it was easy to live without certain perks and aesthetics for a week (Natural History museum, hiking trials, tourist shopping) .
The house was extremely clean upon arrival and in very good condition. The kitchen has most things you'll need like utensils, cups and plates. Some of the bureau draws have a strong musty scent and the bed linens are too shabby (but likely very clean) to want to sleep with but the pillows are ok, just bring your own pillowcase and linens.
The screened in porch is the best! Equipped with a plastic dinning room table/chairs and is perfect for family dinners and then drive to 'the scoop' for ice cream and come back to the porch to watch the fireflies (this house's yard has a ton). fyi: Nearest laundromat, large gym and chain grocery store are both about 6 miles away in Orleans. We found so much to do outside the house that we were there for only breakfast, dinners and sleep. The house has a few fans which cooled it down just fine esp if you're not accustomed to ac. The house is in a quiet nook off the street and a >5 min walk to the beach which is was never crowded when I was there at the end of June. We will probably rent this same beach house again next year.

Nice location minutes from a walk on the beach or a swim. Quiet area but centrally located to several restaurants and shops. Take the car or enjoy the walk but either way its easy to ease back and relax and take in all the beauty the cape has to offer.All of this at competitive pricing.

Only problem was ants especially in kitchen area. Not a negative reflection on any condition just a constructive comment to have problem addressed. Also no key to front door (lock different than side door). This would allow renters to lock screened in area while at beach,then access cottage thru front door. Great value! Everything we needed.

This cottage is perfect if you want a very quiet and relaxing vacation. You don't even need to get in your car all week. The beach, liquor store, cafe and JT's restaurant are all probably within 1/4 mile walk. This place is ideal for a couple or family with elementary school or younger kids. The house is the last one on the street. The yard is big enough for wiffle ball, horse shoes, badminton etc. The beach is inside cape which means the water can be in the 70+ degree range, and there are no waves. It is usually ideal for beach floats.
The cottage is spotless but old, so if hotel level is your minimum acceptable, this is not for you. I would also make sure you have some plans for entertainment if you have teenagers because there not a lot for them to do in Brewster. Bikes, trails, beach is about it.
