Back bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds with the full bath at the end of the hall. Fourth bedroom has a comfy queen bed and its own full bath. Sit out on the balcony and enjoy the gulf breeze and the sunrise in the mornings! Island Retreat is a great place to spend time with family and friends. This smoke-free condo is just a short 5 minute walk over the boardwalk to the beach. The town trolley stops on 11th St. Boat parking on-site. Port Aransas has some great restaurants for when you feel like eating out (or you didn't have any luck fishing). Complex has 2 pools, brand new tennis court with pickleball!, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, playscape and picnic areas for your bbq needs!

Nice! Take this as constructive criticism but someone needed to oversee housekeeping, place was quite dusty. I took pictures to prove to you if needed that the lamps in the bedroom and nightstands were dusty. Your metal art, precious but dusty! Kitchen cabinets need an overall cleaning. Someone doesn’t take pride and in their work and making you’ll lose ok bad. The place was healing for us.

The condo was just like the last reviews have shown. The condo was musty as it had been shut up and filters not changed. The air conditioner needs a tune up and doesn’t work properly. Two sinks were not working and a tub didn’t drain. The property manager was in contact and fixed these two items. Screens on sliding doors were not working properly. Things that are all expected to work when you arrive - routine maintenance stuff. The condo set up was nice and we were able to prepare many family meals in the condo. Complex was nice with short walk to beach, pool and tennis courts.

Some friends and I stayed 2 nights for my birthday. Check in was pretty smooth. Great location. The Vonda was nice. There was a very distinct mild smell. I know it’s near the beach but this was mold. That was only bad part besides check out being 10am which is pretty early and we didn’t know until after we booked.

Excellent location for the Sandfest. Owner was quick to reply when we asked questions. VRBO had great setup with 4 rooms and 3 full baths. Would stay there again.

Amazing view of the Gulf! As easy a booking, check in and departure experience as you could possibly desire. Our stay was in late Feb and the weather hovered around 70. With friends and had a pleasant and memorable time.

The best view of the dunes, beach and surf possible. Good layout inside. Rocky sign-in as our door code did not work, no regular coffee maker, ice maker broken, and master mattress support fallen out. However, interior decorating pleasant, mattresses firm, pretty good kitchen equipment, good-sized dining table.. Having an elevator available a big plus.

Beautiful property! Million dollar view. Spacious, clean and fun. Room easy for my family of 8!! Had to reschedule on the fly & fantastic communication and flexibility! Very patient with me! Thank you. Kids loved the pool. Just enough activities to keep everyone happy! Would go back anytime!

After nearly a year and a half of not being all together, we had a wonderful time with our entire family--daughters, sons-in-law, grand kids--cooking, eating, watching seagulls and cranes fly by, playing on the beach, getting full of sand, trying to figure out what insect or animal was making which sound in the tall grass near the beach. Loved it.

Everything was great but there a few maintenance items that need to be fixed. The kitchen faucet is loose and the tile bars and toilet paper holders kept falling off. Also one of the toilets itself is loose. Other than that we had a wonderful time. Thank you!

My youngest son, daughter, son-in-law and their 3 kids stayed here for an annual family vacation and thoroughly enjoyed this property. The size (enough bedrooms/beds for everyone), location and amenities were perfect for us. My kids & grandkids range in age from 1-30 and we were all comfortable and had plenty to do to occupy the little ones (age 1 to age 10). Pat, the home owner, was very easy to communicate with and I highly recommend this condo!
