So, it's a convenient place for my event that I attended, however, there was NO plug in the bathroom sink--I was worried that I would drop something down it! The handle in the tub/shower to run on the water--feels like it may simply fall off in your hand! I could NOT plug in the alarm clock---it should have been plugged in behind one of the beds. One of the blinds has two wholes in it---which is a little disconcerting, since it is on the ground floor. There were spider webs at the ceiling. it did have everything needed--microwave, mini fridge etc, but it is very tight in that space! Not going stay in it again! Needs a GOOD paint job--several places show white...not the paint color of the room.

Courteous staff, the room was great for a short stay. There are two queen beds but this unit is quite small and would probably not do well with more than two adults. It suited our needs well, for a two night stay. It was pretty clean but had a few stains on the floor and a few chipped tiles. Overall great experience. I would definitely stay here again but I would choose a larger unit if staying more than a couple nights.

Hotel is showing its age. They had red duck tape on tv legs because they were broke. Shower had sand in it from past guest. Room was very small and had to much missed-matched furniture in it. Was hard to move around in it. Best part was the beach.

Overall good. Property is showing it's age. We were not allowed to the room.until after four due to repairs and caulking needing to dry. Unforseen issues. Different experience compared to the past 4 other other times visiting. Felt like since the place was fully booked up management gave the the impression of take it or leave it.

We only stayed one night and the front desk staff were very kind. This particular suite is directly adjacent to the housekeeping center so you'll not be able to sleep in if that's your preference. Although the property is older it's well kept and has a fantastic beach.

The room needs an upgrade, the air conditioner did not work and the room was not clean very well at all. I would not recommend to anyone until they do upgrades and ensure the rooms are a little cleaner for the guest to stay in also they need to upgrade the AC units in the downstairs units near the office. Other than that the beach is always a wonderful place and enjoyable which makes all the negative a positive. Good luck.

The room we booked was not what we paid for. By me saying this, I booked the room based on the glorified description of the room, and Amazing photos showing a pristine room. Upon arrival check in was quick, fast, and very pleasing. Then go to the room, use the key, and had to forcibly open it because it severely hangs up. And you have forcibly close it because it hangs up at the latch. Then you look to your left and the bathroom is needing ALOT OF CAULK around the tub/shower, and a new shower handle. And as you use the shower you STAND IN AN ANKLE DEEP PUDDLE THE WHOLE TIME.
Next you go into the kitchenette, bedroom area. There are 2 queen beds, a dresser, a dining table with chairs, nightstand between the beds, 2 oversized bar stools, and an accent chair. You had to shuffle around or just completely move the bar stools, there is no closet space, the accent chair is just taking up space. You had to side step and shimmy around the bed and kitchen area to get to the closet.
I had read reviews and asked management about my concerns in regards to the damages, small space, etc, but was assured things had been replaced and issues taken care of, but the only thing done was a new coat of paint. It looks like there was mold above the tv/dining table area at the ceiling/wall, the blinds were still broken as in previous reviews, tile was also still damaged.
But I can say WE SLEPT GREAT ON THE COMFORTABLE BEDS AND PILLOWS, and was only a short walk to the backside of the opposite side of the building/complex to reach the pool area(which was only open during certain hours due to turtles(we weren’t informed until asking) and the gate to the beach.
The room definitely needs some work and less furniture, rearranging.

The unit was clean and the staff were helpful, however we were disappointed in the condition of the unit. The toilet would not flush and we had to call maintenance within minutes of arriving. The glass in one of the windows was broken and glued. There was a strange bar/countertop added that severely limited access to the kitchen cabinet.

We were very happy with the location on the beach but the hotel is very dated and over due by decades for a complete remodel. The interior tile floor is broken. Kitchen and bathroom faucet hanging on by a thread. Blinds were broken. Bed was uncomfortable. Too much extra furniture in the room made it hard to walk from bed to bathroom. Outside has deferred maintained on building, walkways, railing. The hotel is about 15 min away from town. Next time I will pay a little more for a newer place

Let me preface this by saying I have never left a bad review for any Vrbo we’ve ever stayed at. But this time, what it boiled down to…you get what you pay for! However, other listings at this property looked to be recently remodeled and much nicer for the same price, I would choose one of those over this condo. There were none available with a beach view or a balcony for this specific date so I had to settle for this particular unit.
We choose to bring our pups since this unit was pet-friendly and thought maybe we could take some walks on the beach. When we arrived, we took them to the “dog run” to use the restroom, nothing but dirt (messy all over our shoes and their paws) and very small (10’ x 50’) at best. Definitely couldn’t be in there at the same time with another dog.
We tried to watch TV, they had 3 remotes on the table (DVD player, cable & TV) had to get the staff to help us figure out how to find “normal” cable/local channels (he said, yeah some rooms have the better package, this one seems to only have basic). Most cable remotes/menus are navigable but this one was so complicated and there was NO written guide or instructions as to how to operate it. It was rainy and cold from the time we arrived until we left so needless to say, it would’ve been nice to have been able to watch some TV and relax.
The kitchen sink faucet was loose and felt like it would fall into the sink if you weren’t careful. The coffee maker was small, cheap and janky. The bathroom vanity was 1 inch short of the wall on both sides with no room to put any of your toiletries so you had to be careful not to put anything on the edge of the sink for fear it would fall into the sink which didn’t have a stopper or between the vanity and the wall. Either way, totally a nightmare if you needed to retrieve something.
There was nowhere to plug in a phone on the nightstand. The only outlets close to the nightstands were behind the tall headboards, had to move the beds just to plug in our phone to charge and be able to see the time in the middle of the night. The mini blinds had been chewed by other dogs. This was more of a cheap hotel than a Vrbo condo. Needless to say, we forfeited one of our two nights stay and headed home the very next morning. Figured, why stay there while it was storming outside (or even wait for it to stop) and be miserable, might as well go home and be comfortable. We were very disappointed and will never book from this property again.

Choose another condo

The cleanliness of the suit was not good. I came in and had to mop the floor as our feet turned black minutes after arriving. The AC had black stuff that was flying out of it. Other than that the location is great.

The only positive about this hotel was the front desk staff that checked me in and the location to the beach.
The room is old and cramped with stained white tile (how?!!!). One of the windows is cracked and the furniture is old and coverlet on the bed is polyester and also very old. The one bed was comfortable but the other one was hard and old just like most of the stuff in the room. Some of the items in the room are not completely finished like the drawers where the silverware is kept and the closet in the room. This property has long-term residents who blast music at 2 AM and because staff leaves the site at 10 pm, there is no one to call to get help. As a single mom, I was not comfortable confronting the person that woke us up at 2 AM. My 19-year-old son, who doesn’t have high standards, wanted to leave in the middle the night, to drive home it was so bad. When I checked out and told the front desk staff about being woken up at 2 AM they exclaimed, “we know who it is. It’s the woman that lives upstairs from that room and we’re sorry that she did that, again. We will talk with her.” That is not acceptable.
This hotel is dog friendly and has a dog run area, that they expect to take you to take your dogs, but that area is muddy and dark and not somewhere that I want my dogs to be walked and felt unsafe.
