Poor customer service/communication

Great location very close to the village, cosy warm place and fantastic views. The sofa bed is comfortable. Nice kitchen in good condition, generally well equipped, but there was no electric kettle.

Poor customer service/communication from the owner, quite brusque - see the messages between us. There was no electric kettle, only an ordinary kettle, so I had to boil a kettle on the hob. When I picked it up the handle was hot and burned my hand. I sent a long and detailed message to the owner about the accident but did not say sorry and just sent me a bill for the damage. The owner is trying to blame me for the accident and charge me for the damage it caused to the work top - the work top does not appear to be very heat resistant. The owner said nothing about the accident and how it spoiled my holiday. The kitchen worktop is very small and there is not much space to prepare food. There was mould in the bottom of the shower tray along the sealant. The shower door was off its track and the rollers did not work properly. When I first used the door and tried to close it, it came off its track and it nearly fell into the shower. The hob did not work when I arrived. The display showed 'Lo' so I had to reset it. The linen and towels look old. It was left bundled together and the linen was creased and not folded. The mattress is quite hard and not very comfortable and the two pillows are a bit lumpy.

Heureusement pour nous le responsable a répondu au téléphone car sur le site nous avions que l'adresse et non le numéro de l'appartement. L'appartement est proche du centre ce qui nous a permis de nous y rendre à pied. Le lit du bas est confortable.

Nous avons été déçus de la propreté de l'appartement (minons sous le lit du bas, papiers ici ou là vide, pour information nous n'avons pas utilisé le lit à l'étage tout en l'air d'ailleurs). Le bac à douche et limite car il y a de la moisissure il suffirait peut-être de refaire le joint. Je pense que nous avons laissé l'appartement bien plus propre que nous l'avons trouvé car tous les produits étaient présents pour nettoyer. Nous n'avons pas utilisé les appareils ménagers excepté la cafetière qui a fonctionné.
