Wonderful stay

Sheila and Max are wonderful hosts! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Sheila who is so warm and kind, she showed us around and let us know we could cook in her house if necessary. The place was so clean and perfect, plenty of towels and bedding. The wrap around balcony and outdoor seating was perfect for us to sit outside and chat. Max came and said hello later and he is also so kind and chatty! They kindly checked on us and gave us recommendations, as well as lots of free avocados and bug spray! One of the girls lost her car keys and they were so helpful in looking for them, we could not have asked for better hosts.

A Welcome Break.

The location was perfect. Close to everything but also very private and quiet. I really enjoyed being surrounded by the gardens and birds. The owners made us feel right at home by being very welcoming and helpful. Would be more than happy to stay again.

I would have loved a larger outdoor setting with more comfortable chairs on the verandah. If 3 or more people were staying, the one bathroom may have been a problem, but it was fine for 2. The lounge suite was comfortable but very low.

Spacious apartment among lovely gardens

Beautiful gardens and convenient location, walkable to cafes and restaurants. Large bedrooms and large comfortable living room, with outdoor table on the deck overlooking the gardens. Hosts are very, very friendly and easy to communicate with, comprehensive recommendations booklet provided and Sheila even made sure to knock and remind us the local markets were on on the Sunday morning :)

Could've been made clearer in the listing that the guest apartment shares a wall with the main house - with internal (locked) doors right onto the bathroom and kitchen area. You can hear quite a lot these points, even just conversations, just made us self conscious that we were being too loud all the time if sound bleeds through that easily. Just something for guests to be mindful of if having their own space and privacy is a main concern.

Beautiful place with accommodating host.

Beautiful spot. Super friendly. Quiet and lovely. Bedroom sizes were great. Lounge was great. Shower and bathroom were fabulous.

Kitchen is better suited to folks who like to eat out more than us. Cooking everything on site was a challenge of space. Our needs were greater than most people’s in this area.

Great location, but wouldn't stay again.

Great location, beautiful gardens, helpful hosts

The apartment is attached to the main house and plenty of noise from the TV and kitchen can be heard and it doesn't feel very private. There was a distinct musty/damp smell that was strong and we needed to leave the windows and doors open. The plates are too large and awkward for the little kitchen sink. Better and brighter lighting would be helpful as well as adequate tall hanging space in the wardrobes.

Great location but needs refurbishment.

Lovely garden setting with helpful hosts.

Bed was very hard. Cooking facility very basic. Furniture was cast offs and not comfortable.

Gorgeous place to stay.

Loved the location and the beautiful garden.

Perfect stay for a family or 2 couples.

Great Location, peacefull outlook, walking distance to great walking track, and very friendly accommadating hosts they even gave us some of their delicious home grown avocadoes. Would stay again.

Everything was top class - the size of the bedrooms, the bed linen, plenty of hot water for a great shower. Only fault was the distance of the bathroom from the bedrooms and its situation beside the kitchenette.

loved the location but wouldn’t stay again

location was perfect

the unit was adjoined to the house of hosts and we could hear them next door a lot and it smelt musty. Two beds were comfortable but the other was not. The couch had sunken in to the point of nearly sitting on the floor.
