The Hotel was perfect after a 10day trip with the campervan. We needed to unwind before getting back into our routine. The staff especially the animation team were TOP! They kept the kids entertained all the time and even the activities during the day were quite fun.
During one particular dinner, the dessert station there was not much of a choice but just Pasticceria items. Breakfast lacked a bit of variety, but other than that nothing to complain about.

The staff were excellent, everyone was very polite, friendly, and always greeted us, including the younger trainees. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and you constantly see the staff cleaning and maintaining the property, even in the evening. Our room was very good, and we especially liked its location and the view towards the marina. One thing we especially appreciated was how they treated us on the evening we checked in. We had been travelling around Sardinia all day and arrived very late, after dinner service had already finished, but they still brought dinner to our room. We genuinely appreciated this gesture because, as someone who travels a lot, I have stayed in many hotels where the attitude is simply that if you arrive late, you have missed dinner. Here, we felt that the hotel genuinely respected us as guests and respected what we had paid for. For us, that kind of consideration says a lot about the level of service and hospitality. Overall, we felt the hotel offered very good value for money. We appreciate a higher level of comfort and luxury, and this hotel definitely provided that. I also left a more detailed Google review under the name Lara, including additional photos from our stay. I added several photos of the breakfast, dinner and buffet selection in particular, as I noticed there are not many detailed photos of the food available online, so hopefully they will be helpful to future guests.
For us personally, the location was not ideal, mainly because of the way we planned our trip around Sardinia. After travelling all day, we still had around a 40-minute drive to the centre of Cagliari by car, which was a little inconvenient. However, we are fully aware that this was due to our own choice of location rather than the hotel itself. The one thing we really did not like was having to wear the hotel wristbands. Ours were bright yellow, and we also saw other colours. We simply found them quite unattractive, especially because we were travelling to places such as Porto Cervo and Alghero and taking lots of photos. We did not want to have a bright hotel wristband visible in every picture. A more discreet way of identifying hotel guests would feel much more elegant.

Relaxed, clean, pretty surroundings and garden
Pool a little small for so many people. Lack of sun beds/ umbrellas

The staff are generally pleasant and helpful, particularly the cleaning staff as the room was immaculate. The pool is also very good - it's a good size, kept clean and has a life guard all day. Breakfasts are also reasonable, a good selection and no limit to how much you may eat and always seems to be fresh.
It's a 3 star hotel with 4 star prices. A hotel room needs to be a home from home, especially if you are there for 2 weeks with children, but a lot falls short that a genuine 4 star hotel would consider standard: Only one power point in the whole room for example is pretty poor. Also a TV that is wedged on the wall in a corner where it's barely visible doesn't help. And a real 4 star hotel would have certain items for use in the room, a bottle opener for example or even a coffee maker. Little things like this that are missing and not thought through spoil the experience. Even the replenishment of things like paper cups in the bathroom - two were there on day one, but once used never replaced. There are also more issues that i think come down to poor management rather than a lack of assets or space, such as the games area (hut) which closes at roughly 12pm and seems to stay shut for 3 hours! If the hotel offers services or activities, they need to be available for people to use them when they want to use them. All 5 or 6 of the staff managing this should not be taking a 3 hour break at the same time. My son and I waited for someone to finish playing tennis, which they did at about midday, then we were told to go away and come back in 3 hours. What kind of fool says that to a guest? The same woman did the same with ping pong two days later and seemed to enjoy telling people to stop using the facilities they have already paid for. And before i forget, there are two places to eat in the hotel, but they don't sell this much at all, in fact unless you know it's there, you'd never know about the second, but they are fairly good. Why not give guest a small map of the hotel when they arrive so they know what is on offer and where it is? More money for them, better experience for the guest - seems obvious.
