Lovely large room with high ceiling beams and stone walls, right opposite the beach with own beach club and breakfast room overlooking the ocean, lovely staff

The location was excellent — within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, bars and the old town. Despite being close to bars and restaurants, the room itself was relatively quiet, which was a big plus.
The room was modern and comfortable, with lovely marble tiling and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was generally good and filling, and the lady serving breakfast deserves a special mention. She was incredibly kind, friendly and professional, despite clearly being very busy and under pressure. Her service was one of the highlights of our stay.
The main area for improvement was communication. The WhatsApp communication sometimes felt quite unprofessional, particularly on our first day when we received several messages regarding parking payment. This had not been explained to us at check-in, so we had assumed the payment would either be charged automatically or settled at checkout. When we explained that we had not been informed and were already away from the property by the time the messages were sent, we did not receive an apology or much reassurance, which was disappointing.
We also felt that the parking was quite expensive for what was provided. We had expected a proper car park, but the parking area is essentially a gravel/stone area behind a building, with no designated parking spaces. Given the price, we expected a more suitable and clearly organised parking facility. However, there were some benefits to having it available — the area is secured by a gate at night, which provided peace of mind, and it saved us the hassle of trying to find street parking, which appeared to be quite limited during the week.
The towel policy could also be improved. Towels are changed every three days, which we found insufficient, particularly for two guests visiting the beach daily and showering once or twice a day. We were provided with only two large towels between us, and this is not something we have experienced in other hotels we have stayed in. We also ran out of shower gel and it was not replaced. We ended up using the hand soap instead and even placed it in the shower to indicate that we needed more, but unfortunately this was not picked up by housekeeping.
The breakfast was decent and filling overall, but a little more variety would have made it more enjoyable for a longer stay. There was some cut-up watermelon, melon and pineapple available at times, which was appreciated, but the apples and oranges were always served whole.

This property put me in an excellent location to enjoy Alghero beach. Private parking that was provided allowed ease of access to get around town with my rental vehicle. Staff members were very friendly, and helpful. Tons of restaurants and food options everywhere. I really enjoyed my stay at this location.

Beautiful beachside location
Very poor performance quality breakfast. You are expected to pay for sunbeds on the beach despite being a paying guest of the hotel. Really miserable.
