Ubuntu Bali Eco Yoga Retreat was voor ons een verborgen parel in Canggu. Ook als je geen yogi bent, is dit een heerlijke plek om volledig tot rust te komen. Er is een gevarieerd aanbod van toegankelijke activiteiten zoals sound healing, meditatie en Yin Yoga, waardoor iedereen iets kan vinden dat bij hem of haar past. Ik reisde met drie kinderen van 14, 16 en 18 jaar en ook zij hebben enorm genoten van de rust, het zwembad, het restaurant, het geweldige personeel en een aantal leuke lessen op het resort. De massage op het resort was bovendien zonder twijfel de beste die ik ooit op Bali heb gehad. De tropische sfeer, de prachtige tuin en de warme gastvrijheid maakten ons verblijf echt onvergetelijk.
Eigenlijk niets noemenswaardigs. Ondanks de levendige omgeving van Canggu voelt het resort zelf verrassend rustig en ontspannen aan. Canggu is een plaats die eigenlijk niet mag ontbreken tijdens je reis. Echter is het er behoorlijk druk. Een oase als Ubuntu is een prima uitvalsbasis van waaruit de drukte en de stranden van Canggu prima te bezoeken zijn.

Such a lovely property outside of the hustle and bustle of canggu. The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming, and the yoga classes were awesome! Still walkable to a couple restaurants, and has a nice pool and cafe for a peaceful lounge between yoga classes. Strongly recommend!

Ubuntu was the perfect setting for my personal weeklong immersion in Mysore practice and self-care. The yoga space was absolutely stunning, and the Mysore teacher Andrea was caring and knowledgeable. Other yoga classes (yin/restorative) were also taught with care.

Best location, close enough to the busy areas but far enough to feel at peace and super relaxed once you arrive to Ubuntu! The staff was also genuinely friendly and caring! Food was delicious and the yoga amazing!
Nothing really, the path to Ubuntu is a bit small for cars to drive in, so would have been good to know this ahead for taxis etc!
