About this condo rental
Situated in Palmas del Mar, this charming condo for $201 per night is a great choice for your next trip. My apartment is a little slice of heaven! It is literally only a few steps to the beach! The bedroom & living room both have gorgeous views & open up to the porch. The porch has a counter running its entire length where we eat most of our meals listening to the ebb and flow of the tide & watching the waves crash, the pelicans dive for fish, & the iguanas climb the palm trees. We marvel at the occaisional surfers & kiteboard & wind surfers as the fly over the waves. At night the moon shines on the water creating a liquid silver effect which is stunning! It is located on the 2nd floor of a small 3 floor building & is very private. There is 1 master bedroom however 6 to 7 people can easily sleep very comfortably in both the loft/entrance area & on the huge U shaped living room couch. There are 2 large smart TVs with sound bars, 2 bikes/helmets/air pumps, lots of beach chairs & beach towels, & a fully equipped kitchen.The entire apartment is yours during your stay. There is a pool for the beach village members that you will have access to that is a 2 minute walk from your door. The Palmas Del Mar Resort is a gated community where many successful Puerto Ricans live or have a weekend place, where many people from the states choose to live & retire or work remotely & where many tourists come to relax and explore the beautiful island. The resort has several restaurants, a grocery store, 2 golf courses, a tennis center, a fitness center, a country club, many pools (one of which you'll have a key to) & a beautiful beach! You walk down the steps from the apartment and you are AT the beach!

Overall, what a great place to stay! The condo is kept up well& it's very clean! Pictures are accurate, other than the abundance of seaweed that is on the beach. We were not able to swim or enjoy the beach due to excessive sea weed bloom- which is not the hosts fault. Other than that, We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed with my sisters and father for a father-daughter vacation as part of a 'bucket list gift to our dad. The location is gorgeous, Palmas Del Mar is quite a place, definitely felt 100% safe. The view is absolutely to die for. We traveled out of the community daily and it was a good home base for exploring. Sadly there was a lot of sargasso on the beach while we were there but it's not to be helped. We definitely recommended this condo.

2nd floor with a wake up view of the sunrise each morning! Cup of coffee tasted better. Given its right on the beach, we only spent mornings & evenings there. perfect for a family of three. Lots of supplies for a long day at the beach - cooler, chairs, umbrellas. host was very responsive to all texts with questions we had.

We spent 4 nights here and had a great time. The property is steps from the beach and is located in a community with lots of options. Communication with the owner was great. We would stay here again when traveling to Eastern Puerto Rico. Thanks for opening your condo to us!

When we rented this property we were hoping it would be as neat and clean as the photos showed. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The bathroom and bedroom sheets were clean. However the bathroom towels were quite old and thin and definitely needed to be replaced years ago.
The kitchen cabinets were greasy. The cabinets were filled with crumbs and the pots and pans were not only in complete disarray but were not cleaned well. There were clothes
shoved into the cabinet.in boxes.
I think what was the most bothersome was the clutter in the house. The closets and drawers had linens and pillows shoved in them. The bedroom drawers needed to be emptied so we had somewhere to put our clothes. The bedroom closet had the top shelf filled with additional pillows and bags of things. The closet had chairs, a ladder among other things leaving little room to hang anything.
The laundry area was full of clutter and dust.
It’s certainly understandable that there needs to be locked cabinets for owners’ items, however, there needs to be nice, clean areas for renters to keep their belongings.
The home needs to be renovated throughout. Drawer knobs are missing, walls are in bad shape, the furniture is old and uncomfortable etc.
It’s unfortunate because we really enjoyed our stay in the area and would have been completely satisfied had the place met with our expectations. We will more than likely be back to the area as we love PR and this location. However, we will have to look for another condo to rent that will be more in line with our expectations.

Lisa’s apartment has everything you need! She’s was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. The morning sunsets are gorgeous. Little touches like providing sunscreen, aloe, and suggestions on places to visit and eat were a bonus. We will definitely stay here again if we come back!

Incredible ocean view and lovely landscaped grounds. Lisa, the host, is always attentive, timely and answers all your questions. Steps from the beach and steps to the pool. We had a very relaxing vacation and the restaurants at Palmas are great. This is not our first time at this apartment and we will return. Thanks Lisa

Week in Puerto Rico
Our family really enjoyed our stay here at Palmas Del Mar. Lisa was very attentive. She sent some recommendations on places to eat and visit, not only locally, but other places throughout Puerto Rico, before our visit during our planning phase of the trip. Once we arrived, she checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was going well. It was wonderful waking up each morning to a sunrise right beside the ocean. We had a great time and would come here again!

The location is awesome & there are a lot of amenities offered to guest. There is small grocery store & places to eat & have a drink within the complex. You will need some sort of transportation (car, golf cart, or bike) depending on where you're staying. I would visit again.

It is in the gated community of Palmas del Mar with a golf course similar to something you would find in a planned upscale beach community in Florida. This place is lovely but, if you are looking for a more traditional Puerto Rican experience, this might not be for you. However, if you are looking for a quiet beach vacation, you will find that the neighborhood is beautiful and the upkeep of the grounds are meticulous.
The condo itself is nicely decorated, very clean, has a fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, blender, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, plates, cups, pots/pans, etc.), washer/dryer, lots of seating, beach chairs/beach towels. Everything you need. It was just my husband and myself so plenty of room. The Coqui door knocker on the front door was adorable (now I have to find that on-line). Lisa was very responsive to the couple of questions that I had.
There is a really huge Econo Supermarket in town which carries EVERYTHING you would find at home including wine, beer, etc. We did do a day trip over to Vieques and the ferry and airport are in the town of Cieba which is a little over a ½ hour away so great location for that. All in all, a very nice stay.

My girls and I had been teleworking and online school for over a year. We needed to get away. This stay was exactly what we needed. The home is truly a slice of heaven and the amenities pool ,golf restaurants all great. Thank you Lisa for sharing your beautiful home. We will definitely come back.

Amazing getaway
Perfect place to stay! This was our first time in Puerto Rico and this place definitely made the trip. The view was outstanding and the place was so cute and clean. It was also so close to the beach, which was really great. The kitchen had all we needed to make some meals there for ourselves. The place it is in is great too- lots of restaurants and stores, the whole trip could easily have been spent just within palmas Del Mar. I would definitely stay there again.

A stay in paradise
The picture doesn’t do any justice to this slice of heaven. Although it’s a one bedroom apartment. It accommodated my family of 5 comfortably. The view was amazing and the owner Lisa was extremely attentive to all my needs and comfort. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a 5 star experience without paying a 5 star price.

Wonderful stay!
While we didn't stay in this specific property, due to an issue with the toilet a couple of days prior to check-in, Lisa was so quick and amazing at finding us another place to stay that was nearby and just as fabulous! Palmas del Mar
The property is beachfront. We had most of our meals on the balcony facing the ocean and watching the aquatic wildlife parade in front of us. My favorite were the pelicans hovering overhead and diving for fish. The apartment is “rustic” and perfect for the beach. The swimming pool is a one minute walk. Caution on the pool hours because of the Covid-19. During our stay it was open between 1pm and 4pm and was limited to a certain amount of people. Palmas is a beautiful place and one of my favorites. It has excellent restaurants and lots of activities for all. All of the employees are always gracious and attentive. The guards are always welcoming and eager to help. Once there you never have to leave. But if you must there are lots of good places to eat (Bocata by Campillo is very good with great prices) outside of Palmas. We needed a groomer for our Yorky and found a great one 5 minutes from the main gate at an excellent price. Lisa was very attentive and quickly answered all our questions and took care of all our concerns. She’s an excellent hosts. I definitely recommend her apartment and hope to come back next year.

Fantastic experience
We were beyond happy with this condo! It is a great location close to many attractions, clean, and well kept with everything you could need. The beautiful view from the deck is amazing. Listening to the sound of the waves was very soothing.
Lisa, the property owner was very attentive and kind. Communication was fast and easy.
