Superbe séjour

Chambre très propre. Famille adorable, serviable et généreuse. A 10/15 à minutes à pied du Fort de Galle, vous êtes dans un quartier local ce qui est très agréable.

Clean as can be!

By far the cleanest place we stayed in Sri lanka. Highly recommended! The room is basic but really clean! The hot shower, was perfect. It's a quiet neighbourhood. Nice balcony for sitting, good WiFi and excellent breakfast, only 600 rp. Bus/train 10 minutes, the fort 15 minutes walking

The booking.com location isn't correct, it's a little bit further, check Google maps. Advice : maybe change it

Fantastic place to stay

If you are visiting Galle, you should stay here for a genuine lovely homestay experience! It is wonderful. The host couple were really friendly and welcoming. Very good to have a conversation with and very knowledgeable......they gave great advice for my travels in Sri Lanka and made me feel at home. The room is large with a good bathroom. The big ceiling fan was perfect to help keep you cool. Location is very central for all of Galle, only a 5-10 minute walk to Galle Fort, Railway station and bus station. Price was very fair. Don't waste any time looking elsewhere and come and stay at 4ty Two Homestay. You won't regret it.

Great. Such a nice friendly atmosphere.

The couple who owed the guest house made us so welcome & were great to talk to. The power cut made the rooms extremely hot - but this was beyond their control. Great breakfast & lovingly prepared. Thank you

Quite hard to find the location in the dark so make sure you know where you are going.

We loved to stay in 4ty two Homestay Galle. Super nice owners, very comfortable rooms and specially the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. Owners are super nice and helpful, they make us to feel like home. Rooms are very clear and hot bath is available. They arrange free tea for us anytime we want. Took us to the markets and arrange taxi for many times. I can't imagine any better place to stay in Galle. Highly recommended.

Nice and well located place owned by kind people

We really enjoyed this guesthouse and especially the smiling family. They are very very kind and keen to offer their help if needed. The room was well equiped with a private balcony from wish you can dry your clothes. There is also a common place and balcony. The breakfast is made according to your wishes (salt, sugar) and home made. A very nice memory from our stay in Galle.

Maybe a little proposal of improvement would be to indicate better the guesthouse on the road.

An amazing homestay to remember!

Our stay at 4ty two Homestay was the best place to stay at so far on our trip. The owners are truly amazing people and they gave us so much love! They thought us how to make coconut rooti, how to open a coconut, and was always smiling! The breakfast was amazing and huge! The owners will make sure you never go hungry ;D. The room was big and clean and we had a very good sleep. It was a walking distance to the fort and markets, if you don't want to walk to the fort the owner will help you to get a tuktuk for e cheap price! We are so happy we stayed here and we will remember this place and the owners for the rest of our lives :)

Amazing family and comfortable place.

Glad that I booked this place during my stay in Galle. What an amazing family I met! Uncle and Aunty treated me like their own daughter. They showed me Galle fort in the evening. Aunty gave me delicious lunch and breakfast. She also gifted me souvenir. Uncle also dropped me at the bus station. Room was clean and beautiful and house is in city centre 5min walk. If you have plan to visit Galle then book this place and stay with this lovely family.

Decent room, wonderful hosts!

What a welcomming family! We were saluted with a coconut and coffee and got help from the hosts throughout the whole stay. The breakfast was just perfect as well. Rooms are very decent but rather sober. Difficult to stay cool at night with only a fan but it is what it is. We would totally recommend this place, especially because of the great host!

Lovely hosts and nice housing

Our stay was short but very nice. The hosts are so friendly. They went to the train station to ask when the train was leaving on the next day for us and made us breakfast to go because we very leaving at 6 in the morning. Most welcoming host we had on our stay and a beautiful house. Very lovely

The only thing is the bathroom. It can get crowded in the evenings.

Amazing location and lovely owners

The home-stay is very clean and the couple that run it are so lovely - you really do feel like you are at home. It is honestly the best accommodation we have had in our 4 week travels around Sri-Lanka - I would highly recommend staying here.
