A hiker paradise, you can start your hikes directly at your personal trail head behind the Cabin from where marked trails allow you to connect to the Squam Range trail system. Hike Mt Fayal, Cotton Mountain, Livermore Mountain, or the entire Squam Range all the way to Double Head Mountain (recognized as one of the best hiking area in NH)- enjoy hiking at its best starting directly from the cabin with no need for a car or finding a parking spot at the trail head! The lake is a short walk downhill from the cabin. From the cabin you will have easy access to a multitude of activities around the lake: - Ashland Beach on Little Squam (7-min drive); nice swimming area with picnic tables. Cotton lake offers a main cabin (~1900 sq. ft.) with three bedrooms that can sleep 6 and a separate 2-story cottage (Casita ~700 sq. ft., please inquire if you are interested; the Casita can sleep up to 4 more people). Additional cost for renting the casita is $79/night/person with a 2 person renting minimum- included in pricing as "Additional guests fee" beyond the 6 people staying in the main cabin. New in 2022, both the main cabin and Casita have been equipped with minisplit Air Conditioning systems. Many cozy rooms await. Regarding suitability of the cabin for families/children, we welcome families with children.
