The room was clean and very pretty. It was true to the pictures. The location wasn't far from the beach. Bed was very comfortable. If the refrigerator had been fixed the first day I would've been completely satisfied. But taking 5 days to get it resolved consumed too much of our trip.
When we arrived the freezer in the refrigerator was frosted over. When we woke the next morning it had defrosted and water was everywhere. The refrigerator had completely stopped working. I messaged and called Real Joy, the vacation rental company, we were told for 4 days that they were se dong someone to look at it. Everyday we were told there was a miscommunication between Real Joy and the property manager, one day we spent the whole day in the room waiting. We had diabetic medications that had to be refrigerated and we had to keep filling coolers to keep them cold. One of my medication ruined and was a cost of $300. On the 4th day a maintenance person came and within 30 seconds he could tell it had a freon leak and couldn't be fixed saying the refrigerator would have to be replaced. It was the next afternoon before we were brought a new refrigerator. So in total we were without a refrigerator for 5 days, we had to eat out the whole time due to not being able to keep food in the refrigerator, and out $300 of medications. No one would ever book a room for 7 days if it had stated without a refrigerator.
