It's location in Somerset, tucked away in a lovely quiet rural site, but central, and only 30 to 40 minutes from so many great places to visit.
The house is very tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. Lovely garden which was also on the flight path of a Barn Owl at dusk.

Very peaceful rural location, ideally situated for everything we wanted to see and do. Barn owls hunting over the surrounding fields was an added bonus. Like the ethos of leaving things wild, and everything in the cottage being second hand and not too precious. Very relaxing place, would stay again.
Kitchen could do with a few extras, like a casserole dish or two, more side plates etc, but managed to cook simple meals. Wished the lights over the cooker worked.
The second bathroom is just a toilet and basin in a very small space, but useful nonetheless. NB tap labelled hot is cold, and visa versa, wasted quite a lot of water until found out.

Well laid out. Quiet and roomy. The owners had put a lot of effort into making the cottage homely.
While it was a lovely place to stay it could be tidier outside especially the stinging nettles. Couldn’t find tongs inside?
