The property was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the peaceful location, the lovely outdoor area, and the overall atmosphere of the villa. Everything we needed was available, and the property was perfect for a relaxing stay.
There was nothing major that we disliked. Everything was generally very good. Perhaps a few small details could be improved, but overall we were very happy with the property and our stay.

Wow! What can we say… Villa Moroni is as beautiful as the pictures suggest if not better! The villa is fitted with luxury fittings and furniture! As a family of cooks we loved cooking and serving dinners in the beautiful courtyard. The villa is fully equipped with everything you should need. A true home from home!
We particularly loved the village location and we were made to feel right at home by the friendly locals. The taverna next door serves up delicious Cretan food!
Right from booking we couldn’t have wished for better hosts! Georgia and her family are truly wonderful.. from answering questions and making suggestions for our stay, nothing was too much trouble! All the special touches by Georgia have made a beautiful home to stay in and we didn’t want to leave!

Il y avait tout ce qu’on pourrait imaginer, maison très fonctionnelle et parfaite pour un groupe, et comme nous en famille. Les climatisations, de la vaisselle de toute sorte, de la lessive, des serviettes de toilette et de bain, des fruits, du gâteau (spécialement préparé pour notre arrivée) bref, tout y est! Le jardin est très cosy, nous avons adoré y passer quelques soirées apéro, on s’y est senti comme chez nous.
Mais alors notre hôte, que dire de sa gentillesse ? Elle a pris le temps de faire le check-in et check-out, elle nous a donné de bonnes adresses, elle a été très compréhensive et flexible avec nous et surtout toujours souriante. Elle a le sens du contact, et de l’accueil. Merci beaucoup à elle qui nous a fait nous sentir comme chez nous.
Concernant l’emplacement du logement, nous étions situés au milieu de l’île donc plutôt bien pour les déplacements. Il y a de toute façon beaucoup de route en Crète donc pour tout visiter il y a quand même du trajet peu importe là où vous séjournerez.
Tout était parfait mais on s’est dit qu’il manquait une piscine… mais ce n’est qu’un plus, si on veut être dans le détail !

De host was uitstekend. Het woord 'gastvrij' heeft voor ons een compleet andere dimensie gekregen door haar. Ze is echt een voorbeeld voor iedereen, ze overtrof met alles onze verwachtingen. Daarnaast was de villa superschoon en in alle opzichten compleet. We verbleven 2,5 week in de villa, tijdens ons verblijf is er tweemaal grondig schoongemaakt, in zeer prettig overleg. Toen we weer in een schone villa aankwamen, lag er telkens een verrassing voor ons en onze kinderen te wachten. Zeer attent. Ook goed om te weten; de host/eigenaar woont niet in het dorp zelf en staat dus niet onverwachts op de stoep.
Als ik iets moet bedenken, is het de parkeergelegenheid. Door de taverne aan zijkant (overzijde van de weg) staan er regelmatig veel auto's geparkeerd rondom de villa. Hier kan de host echter niets aan doen, voor de ingang van de villa staan al bordjes met 'verboden te parkeren'. Maar deze worden structureel genegeerd.
