Great enthusiastic staff. Only one or two of the waiter/waitresses spoke some English, yet everyone worked hard to understand me and make themselves understood. If the airport was operational, this would be ideally located. Restaurant is definitely a highlight: great food and presentation, very broad menu, yet everything very well prepared. Be ready to be creative with your communication skills if you don’t speak much Ukrainian or Russian
Rooms don’t get cleaned unless you turn on the ”clean my room” light, yet even then, my room was only cleaned once, and only partially (bathroom only.) There’s tea and coffee in the room, yet no electric kettle provided and none was forthcoming even though I asked twice. Also, there was no working hot water for the sink faucet, although luckily the bathtub had hot water. I asked for the house engineer to fix it, yet no one came. I’ll chalk that up to the language barrier.
