Situated in Venice Beach, this lovely house for $450 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. **Extended Stay Only - 30 consecutive nights or longer.** Located in the Hippest urban hotspot on the West Coast between Rose and the famous Abbot Kinney district. Our 3 bed/2 bath home is just two blocks south of Santa Monica and 50 yards from the beach and Venice Boardwalk. With driveway parking for 1 vehicle and amenities including washer, dryer, bikes, beach towels, and much more, you'll love our home! **Please inquire about discount rates based on availability.** Further Details: Our charming 1400 sq ft house is in a fantastic location and can sleep up to 6 people. The master bedroom suite has a king-sized bed, the spacious second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the third bedroom has bunk beds with a double on the bottom and twin bed on top. We can also provide a roll-away bed and or pack & play as well as other baby supplies. Our home is located two blocks away from Santa Monica and a 30-second stroll to Venice beach, in a renowned artist community, surrounded by culture and entertainment. With shopping, dining, art galleries, antique shops nearby and close to the bike path that runs parallel to the Venice Boardwalk and stretches north through Santa Monica and all the way south to Redondo Beach, this is an amazing location. To add to your entertainment our home also has bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels for your use. There is a grill in the back and a lovely front porch for you to sit and relax. Please note: No visitors without the express permission of the Host. Absolutely NO PARTIES allowed. Guests will be required to provide ID/DL and may be required to sign a separate contract agreeing to abide by all rules. Motion-sensing RING video cameras on the exterior of the property.

Very cosy "cottage/bungalow". Good quiet street despite being only about 50 yards to the beach. Very clean had everything we needed including a laundry which is great when traveling with family. Bikes were there to use but sadly chain came off but super handy to use for biking into Santa Monica. We choose the accomodation thinking we were a bit closer to Santa Monica and whilst by car it's only about 5 mins it is about a good 45 min walk there. Very good location to Abbot Kinney where there are plenty of good restaurants and trendy shops. Lots of uber drivers around which we used and found to be very reliable. I would highly recommend accomodation would stay there again. We are from Sydney, Australia so was nice to experience living like a "local" for a while. So much better than an hotel.

What better could you ask for than having a morning coffee on the porch and walking to the beach each morning. It was a really lovely house, close to the beach, but far enough so we couldn't hear the shenanigans from the boardwalk. There were toys for us to take to the beach, so my two year old could play, as well as bicycles, which we used and had a great time. We enjoyed walking to the beach, to restaurants and the short drive to Whole Foods made our lives easier too. The only issues we had were so minor, that it didn't dampen the mood! The floors creaked quite a bit, so during naps, we had to be extra careful. The parking spot will be very tight for a full sized SUV (which we had rented). One of the bedroom doors would not work from the inside of the room. The house is really lovely and full of charm. We would stay there again!

I have to begin by saying we had a good time here. It is a 3.5 in my book having stayed in many houses in the US, UK and Europe. Location is great, space is good, it is certainly clean but what lets it down is the quality of the fixtures and fittings. It feels very much like a cash cow to extract maximum rent whilst providing just basic level necessities. For example, the bathrooms are very dated and need replacing, some of the crockery is chipped, not enough glassware, there are holes in the beach towels, the rugs need cleaning, the beach stuff is old and a bit grubby. There is no safe to store valuables that you don't want to carry around with you all day. There is a tiny stove top kettle which takes 15 minutes to boil. I could go on. Small things yes, but things that make the difference between a great rental and an adequate one. On a positive note, he management company were very good to deal with, professional and fast in response.

We had a wonderful experience renting this property. The host was very professional and quick to respond to the only issue we had. One of the bedrooms was staying too warm at night, so they immediately installed a small a/c in the window. Incrediable service! We would definitely stay here again. Loved sitting on the front porch. The bikes were fun to use on the bike path. The laundry was a plus. Very quiet location for such a busy place. Lovely lane, very private. Hope to visit again!

The floors and rugs were not clean, rug in small bedroom is falling apart and a dangerous condition as one can easily trip and fall. Wall decor and bathroom fan full of dust. Cookie sheet had cooked on food.Owner obviously doesn't take any pride in ownership.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the lovely bungalow that is near the action of Venice beach but yet tucked away on a special quiet pedestrian street. The rooms were spacious and light and the home was very well equipped with kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, bikes, sand toys etc. I would definitely recommend this house.

Our Cute Beach House
We stayed for a week on our all girl's cousin trip! We had an amazing time in this bungalow. We biked to Santa Monica & to Marina del Rey. It was so great to have the bikes available to us. (we fixed the bike chain!) We walked to the beach & the beach shops several times. So much fun to be had! We used the front porch to watch the pedestrians & drink our drinks! Everyone was so friendly. The kitchen was just the right size to cook in, but we went out to eat most meals. The beds were comfortable with the exception of the top bunk for an adult. The bathrooms were perfect for 6 of us. Parking was adequate. We did use the laundry facilities also. I would definitely stay again! The property was clean & very well taken care of. Thanks to STAYLA

Location, location, location is the best thing about this home. A block from Venice Beach and walking distance to Main Street in Santa Monica and Abbot Kinney in Venice. We regularly walked to Rose Cafe and Gjusta, two of our favorite restaurants. The house is small and old, but is in relatively good condition. The two very small bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. The rental agency was friendly and helpful and all the neighbors on the walk street were very lovely. We had a nice stay, but are frequent visitors to the Venice area and would not rent this home again.

This was a great property for a relaxing weeks stay for our family of five. Seconds from the fabulous beach and Venice Boardwalk, yet in the quietist, cutest pedestrianised avenue. A few minutes walk from great shops and restaurants on Abott Kinney, Rose and Main st, 20 minutes stroll into the centre of Santa Monica and a short bike ride to Marina Del Ray - the location is great. The house itself is comfortable, bright and spacious with all the facilities you need, including laundry room, BBQ, bikes, boards and beach chairs and a lovely front porch and small garden to enjoy sundowners. The third bedroom is a little small compared to the other two, with access to the back porch which can make it a bit of a thoroughfare. Parking space is great. Would definitely recommend this house and the hosts were unbelievably helpful and efficient

I spent a week here over Spring Break with my teenage triplets, their friend, and my adult son and this was a great rental for us. We were all able to come and go together and separately for various activities like skateboarding, biking, walking, shopping and dining on Abbot Kinney, or just people watching along the boardwalk. There was also parking available, though we chose to use Uber whenever we wanted to head outside of walking distance. We never waited longer than 10 minutes for a ride.
The house is peaceful, nicely furnished and appointed, and very conveniently located. We enjoyed the cozy front porch sitting area overlooking the lovely flower garden and white picket fenced yard where we could relax in between outings with visits from Frodo the friendly cat. The bicycles, and beach gear were also appreciated. I ordered grocery delivery from Vonns and we had everything needed for the week.
I would recommend this rental, as our stay was carefree and fun, as vacation should be.

At the doorstep of the beach and the promenade but so quiet. Enjoyed our walks to Santa Monica and the Venice Canals. The house is well equipped for 6 people though the bathrooms could get a little renovation. We loved our stayed there and were so sad to leave after 5 days. Very convenient to get the parking spot in the back of the house.

My husband, daughter and I spent a week here after the hectic holidays. We had a wonderful visit, we walked to many restaurants and shops on Abbott Kinney as well as Santa Monica. It's also a short drive to Whole Foods and a lovely yoga studio called Studio Surya in Venice. The house is close to the beach but as mentioned by others very quiet. It's a charming cottage, extremely well equipped with everything you would need and very clean. We found that a few lightbulbs were out when we arrived; I emailed Phyllis to let her know, she replied promptly and replaced the burned out bulbs the next day. I would definitely rent the house again and recommend it to friends and family who may be visiting the area in the future.

We stayed here for five nights in May 2015. The house and location are both great. You literally need to only walk a minute or so to be on the boardwalk and experience the "sights" of Venice Beach, however being a pedestrian only frontage, the house maintains a quiet, relaxed vibe that enables you to really relax at the end of a busy day out and about seeing the sights.
We utilised all three bedrooms (there were four adults in our group) and everyone found they had a comfortable, quiet nights sleep.
After living in hotel rooms for the previous couple of weeks the ability to make our own breakfast, make a pot of coffee or have a snack from the fridge was a godsend. The restaurants up on Abbot Kinney Blvd are easy to walk to at night and all in all we felt right at home here. The extras like the bikes, scrabble boards etc are an added bonus, as in this day and age rarely do we get to spend time sitting around a table playing games together......though the wifi was much appreciated too! I would happily stay here again and have already recommended this house to friends.
Other things worth mentioning - there is a bbq and a full kitchen available, which would be great if you were inclined to cook whilst on holidays. Washing machine and dryer available complete with washing detergent. There is carparking available out the back. We didn't have a car for this part of our trip however we found it easy to get around, either by walking, bus, taxi or Uber.
