About this house rental
Located in Round Hill Village, this charming house for $622 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Permit # DSTR1021P Occupancy Rules: *Min age to rent any property is 25. *Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines. *You are only allowed 10 people at any time at the house. This includes any dinners or gatherings you may have. *Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 9pm to 8am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood. * Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin. **Parking: 6 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Pursuant to DCC 20.622.040 (D) (6) Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the responsible party or person of the vehicle. You must display the parking pass in both vehicles during your stay. They are in the rental house. *Please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 7k feet in elevation, and we do get snow. New Hot tub just delivered in February 2021. This 6-bedroom home is just minutes form downtown South Lake Tahoe, less than a mile walking distance to a few bars, restaurants and a coffee shop that are located on Kingsbury grade next to this home. With 2 kitchens, a great deck for BBQing, sleeping for 14, and the great location this is the perfect 6-bedroom house for your vacation. You enter into the cozy living room that has a fireplace, big screen TV and is open to the kitchen. On this level are bedroom 1 and 2 each with queen beds, TVs and a full shared bathroom in the hallway. The laundry room is in the hallway to the garage. On the second floor is the master bedroom 3 with a king bed, TV and a full private bathroom. The 4th bedroom had a bunk bed with a twin on top, full on bottom and a twin trundle. You must walk through this bedroom to enter into the 2nd kitchen and 5th bedroom area. The 2nd part of the house through bedroom 4 can be closed off to the rest of the house and you may enter through the outside stairs, this makes for a great spot for multiple families on vacation. There is a full kitchen, bedroom 5 with a queen bed and a TV, a living room with a big screen TV. There is a full shared bathroom in the hallway. An added bonus is a detached studio apartment with a mini kitchen, queen bed and a private bathroom. This is prefect for the couple who wants to vacation with the entire family but also wants their own private space. Equipped with a mini fridge, sink, microwave, TV and a coffee maker. *You are only allowed 10 people at any time at the house. This includes any dinners or gatherings you may have 1) Queen 2) Queen 3) Master, King private full bathroom 4) Bunk bed with full on bottom, twin on top 5) Queen 6) Studio has a queen bed *You are only allowed 10 people at any time at the house. We had a mini-family reunion in South Lake and this house was perfect! There were 10 of us (5 couples) and we each had our own rooms and the living room / kitchen open area was the perfect gathering place for us all. Very well appointed, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable and perfect. We are already planning next year's reunion here!!

Best vacation rental property I’ve ever stayed at. The home is well-stocked, clean, and really nicely decorated and updated. This was the perfect place to stay with extended family, as we all had our own space. I loved the layout and location.

We took a weekend away with work mates from across the state, and this location was a big hit! The house itself was super clean, and everything was practically brand new. Even though everything in the house was awesome, we spent so much time in the backyard hanging out - playing games and sitting in the hot tub.
A couple things of note that didn't affect our rating whatsoever - the water pressure in all the showers is super low. The neighbors on the street weren't the most forthcoming with kindness. We were definitely the outsiders and driving 15 mph down the street, we still got yelled at and flipped off once, which left us all scratching our heads.
But overall, this house was clean, well stocked, welcoming, and had enough space for all 7 of us and more!

The location is premier and the house is awesome. My only knock on the place is that the cleaning fee is extremely high, and it looked like the previous cleaners did a so-so job. There was some trash left in the place…so was a little disappointed in cleaning fee this high and not walking into a sparkling place.
Overall though, I would recommend this spot!

The cabin was perfect for our group. Everyone was able to get their own bed. The place was very clean and had a ton of dishes and towels and stuff. Great spot. Highly recommend

Beautiful, clean house in a great location, however we would not have stayed there had we known that the thermostats are permanently set at 77 degrees. The house was too warm during the day. We had to wait until evening when the outside temps dropped to bring the inside temp down. Also, the refrigerator was not able to keep our food cold enough so we threw everything out. The frig issue was very frustrating as the owners knew there was a problem, hence the note on the door and the new frig in a box in the garage.

Our group had a great time at this location. The place was nice, clean, great backyard, and plenty of beds. Only complaint is that the fridge did not get cold the entire trip, despite following the instructions on the fridge. Luckily there was another fridge upstairs but it would have been nice to get a heads up on that.

Our extended family spent the long weekend and the experience was mixed. Good: - Location- Good amount of space & general amenities- Lots of dishes, linens, etcBad:- One of the rooms (back guest house) was not clean. There was some hair on the sheets. Had to change out the linens..- There is no AC (per the listing), but there was a thermostat and "blower" that brings in outside air. This did not work in the back room and when I called the management company, they were curt and said the listing says "no AC" and said they would send someone...who never showed in the next two days. It was really hot weekend and we could not use that room during the day.- The mgmt company is in general curt and not friendly..I asked if we could check in at 2pm instead of 4pm and got a curt response "Checkin at 4pm". I checked in that morning and we had driven up early and the place was ready but the company did not care to see if they could accommodate.- The yard is simply not maintained and the bench outside is filthy..could not sit outside when it cooled down in the evening. The weeds are all overgrown and looks unkempt.There are a lot of choices in Tahoe area and there is no need to pay top $$ and get this kind of a house and service.

We had a group of 9 stay at this property for a long weekend ski trip at Heavenly. There was almost more space than what we needed!
We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen(s) and the hot tub. Overall the property was great.
Snow was cleared from the driveway but the walkway to the back studio could have been better cleared.
Had some trouble with checkin because I had to download a separate app to get the instructions, just wasn’t used to that. But otherwise no issues. Would stay again and would recommend to other large groups!!

This is the perfect getaway for any friend/family trip. There's enough space to gather around and host. 2 kitchens and a private/ separate room aside from home for privacy if needed. You're almost walking distance to downtown South lake. It was peaceful and a great experience with the family.

Wonderful stay with friends
This property exceeded expectations. The location is perfect for going down to restraunts and casinos. The kitchen was equipped with anything you need along with ample beach towels. Would definitely stay again!

Lake Tahoe House
Conveniently located minutes from Lake Tahoe and the Nevada Casinos. Very spacious for our family with ample amenities.
I give this property 4 stars because of the cleanliness. Some of the sheets had stains on them. The throw blankets smelled like suncsreen. And the garage floor had a strong beer smell and was very sticky.

My family and I had a good experience at this listing. It was situated close enough to a good coffee shop. The hot tub was a plus! It fit 10 people very well. The BBQ grill was also clean enough to use on arrival. I would recommend this place.

Layout was maybe actually better suited to groups that like to split up. Neither common area was massive, but it was certainly big enough to accommodate us. We got a somewhat random, automated noise complaint - I did not think we were being to noisy nor did I receive a response to my reply. Water pressure in the shower was not good. But that’s not what it’s all about for us. I really would recommend this place for sizable groups. Awesome location being right next to town and less than 10 minutes from heavenly. Good parking. quiet street. All in all, great stay. 5 stars across the board.
