The hostess (Cosmina) was great help, friendly and nice. Easy to talk to her via WhatsApp. The backyard was nice and the barn cosy, even though it had lots of old furniture and stuff just laying around. The big house was build in 1821 and had kept its charms from that period. Plenty of plants and trees, parking places in front of the house. Lots of cats roaming freely around .Few stray dogs watching over the house from the street, too.
We stayed in the big house, attic, this Summer. The apartment had too much old furniture laying around with no use in it. Wifi was weak actually non existent . No 4G as well. We had to go to the barn to have wifi. For people that can not climb stairs and have limited mobility the attic is impossible to reach. No airco there so, if you plan to visit in the Summer, I think that would not be a very pleasant stay. The shower was very small and uncomfortable. No place to keep a douchebad or shampoo bottle inside the shower cabin. The hot water was limited, too.

We stayed for 2 nights on a tour of Transylvania and absolutely loved the place and the village. So calm and quiet. I guess the experience depends on what you are looking for and I left "comfort" blank above. This is not a comfort accommodation as such. But all is nice, clean and beautifully preserved. It is a time travel place into the past. Remote, quite, a lovely lot of very friendly cats. The hosts made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We have lovely chats about Romania, village life now and then. Fascinating. - The pictures were accurate. - First day we had the entire place for ourselves which was lovely. Other visitors stayed in the other small houses for the second day meaning sharing the barn for breakfast and reading which was equally nice and it felt like a farm house like youth hostel experience. We loved it and will be back. One of the best stays I have ever been at and would love to experience it in autumn or winter as well.

The location is superb (small, quiet village); the communication before and during the stay was excellent; Cosmina was waiting for us and explained everything in detail. The common barn was perfect to relax, and to have a coffee or tea. With an additional cost, Cosmina and Daniel prepared an extensive breakfast for us at the barn, with a lot of delicious local products.
It was the best accommodation of our travel in Romania. Recommendation: visit Viscri and reserve a dinner there.

The yard , the cats and the simplicity of the surroundings
The fact that its not specified that you dont event get a bottle of water and the nearest supermarket is in other villages 10km away or in Sighișoara.
You dont have a restaurant nearby so if the host is not offering you dinner you will starve a bit. You can go to Viscri or to Crit but most of the good places offer restaurant facilities only to their guests.
Not all rooms have a kitchenette where you can make yourself a coffee. You have the possibility to go and stay in the big building where they serve breakfast but again only a boiled water tea or ness.
When we were there the lady and some guy who manage the place had a birthday party of a friend of theirs and they were too loud for my taste at lest thats why you want to go in a place like this for the silence otherwise you can always stay in a city or go in a club.
Maybe I'm too ezoteric but the old furniture has bad energy but maybe it's just my feeling.
