Located in Mountain View, this lovely cabin for $104 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Our rustic cabin can be perfect for a relaxing getaway in the Ozarks. This one bedroom, one bathroom cabin can sleep 4 comfortably but can accommodate 5, with a queen bed and a twin bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sleeper in the living room. The kitchen has bar seating for 2 and a dining room table to hold 4 guests. Guests can cook their own meal in our stocked kitchen or head to town for several tasty restaurant options. We supply you with fixins’ for S’mores, coffee, and charcoal for grilling. You can relax and rock on the front porch, sipping your beverage of choice while enjoying the sunrise or some peace and quiet. (This is a Dry county, so come prepared) Enjoy the provided wifi. There is cable TV in the living room along with games and books for entertainment. If you need something a little larger, check out our other rental "The Little Barn on the Hill" Vrbo # 2249401 (It has two bedrooms and a washer & dryer) or if you are needing something for a group these two rentals are a quarter mile of each other. The cabin is located 2.5 miles to the court square where you can hear musicians "picking" on the square almost any day of the week 3 miles to Ozark Folk Center State Park 3 miles to Stone Drive in theater 8 miles to the river where you can hire a guide for great trout fishing 15 miles to Blanchard Springs Caverns (One of the best caves around) 41 miles to Batesville, AR 114 miles to Branson, MO Outdoor amenities: Fire-pit Baggo Rope Swing No Pets No Parties

It was a very charming and quaint little house. It was very clean and well stocked with necessities. It was very quiet but you didn’t feel isolated. I would recommend it for a small family.

We loved staying here! It was cozy without being too small. Loved everything about the cabin, loved the closeness to everywhere we wanted to go. Definitely plan to stay here again. Thank you for having this adorable cabin available for us to stay.

I could not stop talking about how adorable the cabin was. It was perfect for our little family. The only surprise for me was the pictures made me think it had separate bedrooms. The beds are in one room, this was a pleasant surprise for me. I have small children and was nervous about them being in a different room. Clean, comfortable, cute.

This little cabin was perfect for our family of 5 we had everything we needed to grill out and we enjoyed the fire pit. They even provided us with the makings for smores! There were also lots of board games and dvds the location was beautiful and quiet and we had a wondeful experiance

Super clean, had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend! Perfect distance from town. Only item I wish they would have had is ESPN or Wi-Fi so we could have watched the Hogs game:) That’s on me for not being prepared for that!

Three friends, a deer, and an armadillo

After driving past the location a few times, a local neighbor helped us locate the cabin we had reserved. (I suggest a bright, relective, or otherwise noticeable roadside sign with address and name of the cabin.) My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin and the time spent relaxing, talking, and soaking in the tranquil surroundings. The cabin was clean, stocked with all necessary supplies, and even offered DVDs and table games. Our favorite part was rocking on the front porch and being spooked by the armadillo which ran across the yard so fast the roadrunner would struggle to keep up. We briefly met the friendly owners after we ate a large breakfast and tidied up the cabin. The great experience gave us new memories cherish. We highly recommend a stay and hope to return someday.

My Mom, sister and I stayed here on our way back home to IL from vacation in Heber Springs. It's located close to town, yet you're set in the country. Very comfortable and cozy!! It was too hot to utilize the fire pit for s'mores, but hopefully next time! Highly recommend!

The little cabin is absolutely perfect for anything in or around mt view. Great cell service all around the cabin. Everything was perfect. Mt view a great spot to unplug and reset. One thing to note: I checked for spiders before we got in bed and found one in each bed. I know it’s a cabin and it happens. Just posting mainly owners are aware. None of us were bitten.

We stayed Easter weekend and it was perfect! Plenty of space for the kids to play, we watched movies that were available and I was able to put things up quickly on arrival to make it more crawling baby friendly!

It was a Great weekend and a nice spot. Secluded nice little cabin but the Step Up to the living room and step down to the bedroom need to be fixed. Us old people have arthritis and neuropathy and it's a trip hazard but other than that it was a very nice place!!!!

My family and I were looking for a getaway the weekend after Thanksgiving. We love the Mountain View area, and chose the Cabin on the Hill because it was only 2 miles to town. The drive up the hill to the cabin was beautiful! The cabin itself was clean, nicely decorated, and provided a homey atmosphere. The fire put outside was stocked with wood and Sheryl even had all the necessary parts for us to make s’mores. We would definitely stay here again!
