I was in a self-catering apartment. Location was beautiful though a very hilly spot. Apartment extremely clean with 99% of the amenities you could possibly want. Could have done with a hairdryer, ( and diffuser), just to save me lugging my own. I suffer with a bad back so found an average mattress uncomfortable. It was beautifully decorated though and met 99% of my needs. View was breathtaking, the whole area was nice though if you struggle with hills, think twice. A lovely stay in a lovely home in a beautiful area.
I couldn't put the rotary dryer up. At 62 and with a touch of arthritis I found it impossible to push up the rotary dryer to secure it. There wasn't a plug socket near a mirror for me to dry my hair comfortably. I had to use a socket in the kitchen that was close to a mirror in the hall, trouble was the smoke alarm was directly above the mirror and the hairdryer kept setting it off. There was not a fire extinguisher in the kitchen as stated in the information booklet.

The enclosed garden was great for my dog, and nice to sit in place was clean and tidy everything we needed bed was fabulous,lovely and quiet in the evening.
Abit of a trek to harbour very hilly if you struggle with walking, work was being done next door which was very noisy from 8am, no fault of accommodation.

Great location.
It’s a bit damp smelling being partly below ground. There are not enough chairs for 4 to sit round the table. No pot to make coffee.

Quirky and beds really comfortable. Liked the separate bath and shower. The host was accommodating when contacted.
Nice secure garden with patio furniture.
Sitting room very small and tv on a low stand. Missing grill pans and chopping boards but owner rectified this.
Parking was confusing no parking sign on the wall but that’s actually where you park. The other property was occupied and he wasn’t happy to share the off parking on the front.
There are a few steps to navigate to get to the property and the bushes make it hard to get down with cases.
Had a slight damp feel to the property and them heated towel rail doesn’t work.
The cleaning is fair cobwebs in the corners and the twin room curtains could do with a wash.
Quite a walk to town up steep hills
