Nice location in a calm city not too far from the coast. Very nice old building, entirely refurbished. Great staff. Easy free parking in front. Great breakfast.
Given the structure of the building, some room (mine) windows are at the level of the street (with not much traffic), but still might be unsettling for some.

It was such a lovely hotel, so light and airy. Bedroom roomy and good bathroom. Beautiful location next door to an abbey and very good restaurant a few minutes walk away.

It was a convenient location for us on our way back to le shuttle the following day.
We arrived to check in (which was from 4pm) hotel door was open so went in to the desk not a soul in sight rang the bell on the desk still nothing it was like a ghost town. Waiting half an hour someone eventually turned up by car. Said we should have rang the buzzer on the external door. We had missed this as the hotel door was open.
We where ‘upgraded’ to a family room (only two of us) it very much felt like we where stuffed in the vast attic! Room was clean enough but very tired looking, stained carpets & cobwebs etc.
