Beautiful villa, plenty of space for 7 people, air conditioning in every room. Good sized pool and jacuzzi, ping pong table and garden chair sets make spending time in the garden fun and comfortable. The location is only a 15 minute drive from Rethymno, and around 1 hour from both Chania and Heraklion. This makes it perfect as a home base whilst you explore all of Crete.
We had some issues with the tap water supply, and a power cut. However this is not the fault of the owners at all, and they did everything they could to get the issues sorted quickly with contacting local authorities for information.
I highly recommend Villa Alex if you're looking to stay in Crete. They even included some snacks and drinks upon our arrival, and regularly cleaned the bed sheets, villa and pool without disturbing us at all.
The only problems we had were caused by water and power supply issues, so nothing to do with the villa or the owners themselves.

The accommodation was great, we had everything we wanted and more. Paris was very kind as to help us with everything we needed, including an early check in and a late check out, with no extra charge. The location is great, very near to supermarkets and tavernas. We were a group of seven people, had more than enough room, and enjoyed all the facilities - swimming pool, ping pong table, the nice pool and jacuzzi.
We recommend this beautiful house to anyone that wants to have a great time in Crete, and we can’t wait to be back here. Thank you so much for all the beautiful memories!

Everything was amazing. Beds are comfortable. Enough internal space as exterior space for a family of 6-8 people.
Table football and ping pong table kept us busy when we had some downtime and pool was maintained daily while we were there. Very very clean space with everything you need
It would take us 8 mins to get down to town centre by car. The host welcomed us with fruits and some traditional Raki. They accommodated many other requests.
Upon our arrival to Crete, we found out our suit cases had stayed in Heathrow. Upon knowing this, the hosts baked us a lovely cake to comfort us during this stressful experience
Thank you for everything !!
