The rooms are beautiful, high ceilings, beautiful shower, soft fluffy beds, friendly staff, classy bar, very good salad with artichokes.
The surrounding area was not comfortable for me a single person to walk to or from the building after dark

Love the interior, great gym for a quick workout, yummy breakfast, and super sweet staff.
Food service closed at 9:00 pm which I totally understand! I just was bummed to doordash when I got in late and then had a late event. Would have loved even a limited menu like a burger!

Decor and staff
Was a little humid so the sheets felt kinda damp.

Good location. Nice view of the court house. Clean and well-decorated room and bath.
No coffee maker/tea, luggage stand, or iron in our room. And nothing but tap water in the lobby for those checking in. For the price per night, paid parking and no breakfast, we expect more amenities in our room. The walls are also very thin, and you can hear everything in the hallway.
At 7:30am on Saturday, I went down to the lobby for the commentary coffee and it was out. Parking isn’t validated for guests, which is unheard of in Des Moines. Many great hotels in this area in the same price range with more features, services, and amenities.
