Located in Hickory Run State Park, this lovely chalet for $410 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Fantastic Lake Harmony Estates Winter/Summer Home! This beautiful mountain home is nestled between Big Boulder and Jack Frost Ski Resorts, within Lake Harmony! Just a short walk to the private Lake Harmony Beach. You can enjoy a winter view of Big Boulder Ski Area from one of the two front spacious decks. Our home is just over a 15 minute walk to Lake Harmony, a private lake that permits fishing, power boating, water skiing, and swimming. Our private Lake Harmony community beach has a swimming area, picnic tables, and beach volleyball court. Tennis and Shuffleboard Courts available to use in the neighborhood and Lake Harmony Watersports is available to rent kayaks, canoes, row boats, paddleboards, and water ski and wakeboarding. Hike the beautiful trails of Hickory Run State Park and Austin Blakeslee Natural Area. Both just a few miles away. The home is a 5 minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort and 10 minutes to Jack Frost that provides skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. Other local attractions include Pocono Raceway, just 5 miles away as well as Split Rock Resort, just a half mile away. Other activities nearby include snowmobiling, horseback riding, paintball, hiking, white water rafting, fishing, hunting, miniature golf, water parks, casino gambling, bowling, movie theater, multiple golf courses, and shopping. Indoor Features: Spectacular game room with full 7' pool table, wet bar w/beer fridge, and foosball table. 3 Smart TV's and 1 TV in the Loft Area for Gaming, built-in whole house stereo with Bluetooth, WiFi internet, Amish kitchen table with seating for 10+, Keurig machine and standard coffee pot, love seat and sofa. Home has a stone gas fireplace, washer/dryer, and 3rd floor loft with it's own half bath. Home Layout: Sleeps 13! First Floor: Game room & wet bar, 1 full bathroom, two bedrooms both with Full size beds. Second Floor: Kitchen, Family Room, 1 full bathroom, two bedrooms both with Queen size beds. Loft: 2 full size beds, 1 twin, and 1 half bath. Also has a high chair, Bumbo Seat, portable baby gate, bed rail, bouncer seat, and a pack and play for kids. Outdoor Features: 8x8 Foot Hot Tub on the lower level deck. Two large decks with ambient lighting for nighttime use. Plenty of seating and a large picnic table with propane grill. Plenty of outdoor fun to be had with an outdoor fire pit, bocce ball, and a horseshoe pit. PLEASE NOTE: This is a NO SMOKING and NO PET home. All linens, mattress protectors, comforters, and pillows are provided. You must provide your own paper products, toiletries and bath towels. This cabin is clean and accurate to the description.
Didn’t know until check-in though that we needed to bring our own paper products (toilet paper) and towels. I’d expect this to be available without a service charge.
Also there are penalties for using the homes’ supplies we weren’t aware of until check-in like firewood for the pit.

We head to the Pocono region every Christmas to meet up with family. The house was great, kids enjoyed the game room and we all played family games at the large kitchen table. It rained our entire stay but we made it into the hot tub and walked around the neighborhood a bit. Really lovely area and thankfully the house was large enough for everyone to have space to relax.

We were very happy with our stay at Lantern Lake House. The hot tub, pool table, fire pit, board games, and fooseball table filled any downtime in our trip. The kitchen was so well equipped with dishes and utensils that we cooked a whole Thanksgiving meal with ease. There were childrens toys and equipment that entertained my three year old for an entire afternoon and made taking care of my 6 month old less stressful while being away. I was so grateful for the thoughtfulness of having those items on hand. The location had lots of things to do in the surrounding area and lots of restaurants close by. The information about the stay from the host was thorough and check in and check out were easy. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to get away.

The house was very beautiful! It was very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed cozying up by the fireplace. The pool table was a lot of fun. It was spacious.
We walked to boulder field which was a street away. We went to the the casino. We enjoyed shopping at Jim Thorpe. Shinnegans restaurant was down the road and the food was excellent. We also went horseback riding In White Haven. It was an excellent girls trip!!! I highly reccomend The Lantern House.

We searched for some time to find the right house for our daughters 16th birthday and this was it! The home was everything as advertised and more! This is the perfect house for anyone looking to stay near Lake Harmony! The exterior was clean, wooded, private, and picturesque. The fire pit was great and the hot tub was hot and clean. There was plenty of space in the decks to enjoy the tranquility! Inside was just as perfect! I read previous reviews about how the pictures on the listing didn’t do the home justice and this is true! The home was clean, comfortable and spacious. Two bedrooms on the first floor with a full bath and game room were perfect for the adults to enjoy! The 2nd floor had a spacious family room, kitchen, and two more bedrooms and a full bath. The views were awesome! The 3rd floor loft was great for the kids to watch TV and movies at night. Overall, we give this a 10 out of 10 and would rent again. Check in was easy and owners were responsive. Perfect getaway!

We had a large group staying for the weekend and this property was absolutely PERFECT! I couldn’t rave about it more! it has so much space (3 beds upstairs, 2 bedrooms on the middle floor and 2 bedrooms on the lowest level). the house was BEAUTIFUL and had everything we needed. we loved using the hottub and the string lights were such a nice touch. the property is so close to all the lake harmony restaurants and bars. we loved our stay and are already talking about coming back!

Check in was a breeze, light switches were labled, house was very clean, loved the double deck. Property owners were very responsive with the minor questions I had before, during and after my visit. House looked exactly like the pictures, or i’d say even better in person. They did a great job with the decor, the house was really clean (with exception of the fridge which just needed a better wiping if i’m going to be picky) and always smelled so good from the pine. We were a group of 11 and were only there for 2 nights, but still used all the amenities - pool tables, foosball, fire pit, jacuzzi. Host was also easy to work with, and check-in was a breeze. At the end my family was saying how we would love to stay again.

If you are looking for a quick getaway to go skiing this place is great. We had 11 people from 14 to 50. Plenty of room for everyone. Also very convenient to Big Boulder and Jack Frost. Would recomend.

Wonderful weekend stay in Lake Harmony with our family. Short drive to Camelback for a great time tubing and enjoying the arcade. Mike and Devon’s house is in a great location, very clean and well appointed. Our kids love coming back to this house and making memories. Looking forward to returning next year.

My friends and I rented this place for my birthday weekend and had the best time! My Vrbo messaging was messed up the day of check in but I was able to call/text the hosts with ease. They were super friendly and resent the information I needed! There were only 7 of us so we all fit in the top 2 floors but I think the living/kitchen area was perfect for that amount and probably would have felt crowded with too many more. Kitchen had everything we needed to make group meals and the grocery store was a quick 10 minute drive. I’m glad this place provided linens because I’ve seen others in the area don’t. But don’t forget your own towels! We also enjoyed the hot tub each night and got to sit out at the fire pit too. We saw plenty of deer and turkeys and even a black bear one morning! Neighborhood was fairly quiet but I figured since it was fall, summer stays had wrapped up. Also highly recommend a night at Shenanigans on Friday or Saturday for Karaoke. We had a great time there! Overall great stay for friends who wanted to spend quality time together.

We rented the Lantern Cabin for a bachelorette weekend getaway. The house was clean and had the perfect setup. There was an issue with the fridge that Mike helped solve right away. Devon even shipped some items for us that had been left behind. Highly recommend staying here!

From the minute we entered the house, we were in awe. The rooms are all themed for the mountains which set the tone for the weekend. The house was so clean and had all the amenities we needed. Our group had such a blast celebrating our bride-to-be during bachelorette weekend playing games at the gorgeous wood kitchen table, relaxing in the hot tub, sipping coffee on the deck and spending time in the awesome game room basement. The location of this property is perfect - we were able to take a quick walk to the beach by the lake and take a quick drive into town for the local restaurants. I highly recommend this house for any group. Thanks for a memorable weekend!
