Brand new renovated and well equipped with all the essentials you will need after a day of exploring - you will LoVe your stay! You will feel our nautical details in every room and can learn a lot about Whales at the same time if you like. The koholā (humpback whale) was well known to the early Hawaiians. Our space offers a brand new Kitchen - designed in the colours of blue, white and Autumn Blush. The kitchen is well equipped as well. Another Highlight is the new renovated Bathroom especially the Shower - Throughout the home we have nice lighting plus ceilingfans and curtains in every room. The rooms are Breezy and have all the privacy you need to relax. Another Extra of this Home is also that we added a Brand new Washer and Dryer a guest feature as well as some Beach Essentials like Beach Towels for you to use so you do not have to bring it. You can self Check-in with our Smart Lock. Easy Self Check-in via Code. We are always available for our guests via phone call or text message or simply through the messenger just reach out to us we are happy to help. Our single family home is located in Downtown Hilo with an upstairs and downstairs. You will have the Street level House all to your self with 2 Private entrances. We will send you a four digit code for your self check-in.

I've never seen a place as wonderfully stocked as this kitchen was! It was a lovely rental for our few days in Hilo. Large and full of eco-friendly cleaning and storage options. Given that it was December and it wasn't really possible to ever close all of the windows, , I wish there had been some form of space heater, but that's about the only negative. Be prepared for frogs and if you have specific earplug needs -bring them! I'd happily stay here again if I find myself back in Hilo.

We had a great time at this property. Everything was well thought out (extra bedding, crib for kids, stuff for cooking), and we liked the small touches like the coffee and treats. The hosts were very helpful and communicated well during the process. We would be looking to stay here again the next time we come to Hawaii!

We loved this house. It had everything we needed, even olive oil and coffee, a great washer and dryer, and amazing decor. We spent a lot of time marvelling at all the whale-themed items and choosing our favourites. The beds are very soft, our preference would be for firmer ones, but otherwise perfect for us.

A beautifully decorated apartment in Hilo. The theme was whales and there were so many beautiful ornaments--tasteful, not tacky--it was a lovely stay. The rooms were big and airy, and light-filled, all with fans...which we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, and the owner left us some local treats! It really felt like a home in Hilo. Recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness of the owners. There was a welcome basket and the home was immaculate. Tons of room and we felt right at home. Close walking distance to downtown and all the activities we planned.

After a decade of great VRBO experiences, I guess we were due a poor one. Property seems to be managed by a Simeone, who claims to have 100+ on her books. Story short. Had to cancel booking inside the 60 day period due to major cancellations / cost escalation with Japan Airlines. Other VRBO owners graciously moved dates or charged a cancellation fee. Simeone refused any refund. Fair enough - they were the rules. Three weeks later Simeone chased for the balance of payment. AFTER I had paid she asked if I was still coming, then claimed she would not have taken payment if she knew. She offered a 50% refund. When I complained at the treatment, pointing out that I had told her I was cancelling 3 weeks earlier, she then recinded her refund offer & became quite abusive, claiming I knew what I had booked. @Steve - the experience did your place no credit. I've appraised VRBO of the experience & they are taking a look.

So clean, we felt comfortable and at home the moment we walked in. They provided everything we needed. Decorated so cute! It was easy to get around to everywhere we wanted to go! Thanks for a great stay! Property managers were quick to reply to our text!

What a beautiful home!!! Recently renovated kitchen & bath as the listing says. Easy (free) parking right in front. Great communication with the hosts (thanks, Simone!) Close enough to walk downtown. Two Notes: One: if you’re accustomed to central A/c, this property does not have that. We only missed A/C on one humid night - the rest of the nights, it got cool enough that the fans did the trick. Two: the “sleeper couch” isn’t an actual fold-out couch. It’s just a sectional. So - if someone plans to stay there, it’s more suited for a kid or teenager. Overall a very, very nice property! Beautiful apartment in a convenient safe part of Hilo. Close to downtown, easy to get around. Loved all the special touches and details the owner has put in. Very clean, lovely new shower, w/d machines. Loved all the fans in the house as I’m not a central a/c person either. The house is amazingly always cool and we visited in June! Kitchen had all the amenities you would find at home. And the host even welcomed us with some island gifts! Mahalo for a great stay!

This home was absolutely beautiful - and the attention to detail was incredible! My sister and I couldn't get over how well the home was decorated and set up. All the amenities you could need and very tasteful at that! We hadn't researched the area overly well, so important to do that of course. But we were beyond impressed with this home!

Walking distance to a nice grocery store (literally on the same block). Great central location in Hilo to serve as a jumping off point to many must-see areas such as Volcanoes Park, waterfalls, black sand beaches, green sand beaches, Mauna Kea, Waipi'o Valley etc.

This condo was wonderful for my family. Very great location to downtown Hilo. Property was clean, check-in and check out process super easy. Had to communicate with property owner several times during our stay in regards to plan changes but they were always prompt with communication. Highly recommend!!

Wonderfully renovated Hilo house.

Wonderfully renovated Hilo house.

Newly renovated house in the heart of Hilo. Nicely appointed and very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and everything is nearly brand new. Wonderful location with easy access to all parts of the Hilo and East side communities. The owners are very responsive and the reservation process as well as checking in was very easy and smooth. I would and will definitely stay here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
