Great for a stop-over or longer stay.

Our second stay here, although this time only a one night stop-over. Great location in a quiet corner of the town, but within a few minutes walk of a superb butcher/charcutier, an excellent boulangerie, and the tabac/maison de la presse. Secure and generous parking, and the property is similarly generous in size and more than adequately equipped. Comfortable bedroom, great bathroom/shower and kitchen/dining/seating area. Whilst "traditional" in style, it meant the entire property was delightfully cool during one of the hottest days/evenings of the year! The small baroque church in Asfeld is unique in design, and is a "must" to visit.

A great and cozy stay in a quiet countryside.

A great and cozy characteristic house with authentic old furniture, but modern appliances and brand-new spotless bathroom. Very pleasant hosts. Unfortunately, they don't speak English and we don't speak French, so we could not have any conversation. But they lit a fireplace for us which was so cozy for a rainy day. The village is small and have literally nothing in it, but it was exactly what we were looking for.

No bath towels, dull knives and not a single lid for numerous pans and pots. However, I would not consider it a serious downside, especially for such a great price.

An ideal place for self-catering and a peaceful time.

A very quiet village with easy access to Reims and the motorways. The host was very helpful and friendly. The property is very spacious and parking is secure.
