Villa Maria in Alvor is a three bedroom spacious apartment that has everything you need in a basic way but with no extras - it is comfortable but without a ‘wow’ factor - it’s main attraction is it’s location - with the main tourist drag a three minute walk away likewise the central bus stop and taxi rank in the other direction.
The entrance procedure was problematic - texting the owner to receive the key safe code took ages because you are not aware you need the Dutch prefix telephone code - also, the people booked into the sister apartment were given our key code and told to go ahead and move in and they were unpacked when we knocked on the door - previous apartment comments revealed this mix-up had occurred before. Also, the apartment was not very clean with a visibly dirty kitchen floor and cobwebs in the shower room.

Alojamento tal como as fotos mostravam. Muito bem equipado, com ótimo espaço exterior, muito bem localizado permitindo ir à praia a pé e usufruir do centro do Alvor. Desde o pão da manhã aos bares à noite...tudo ali mesmo.
Publicidade sobre utilização de garagem, o que não correspondia ao espaço para parar o carro. Mesmo assim, irrelevante face ao conjunto.

The apartment is in a very good position for restaurants and bars and not too far from the sea front.
We had the upstairs apartment with the roof terrace,which has plenty of space. There was only two of us so we just used one bedroom, The bed was comfy enough.
The ac worked well as we were there in a hot spell of weather
The shower head over the bath needs replacing as it just doesn't work properly, we could not get the oven to work at all and we had to YouTube how to use the electric hob , instructions for both would be a bonus . A microwave oven would be useful, but in reality there is not much room for one.
