You cannot beat the warmth of the welcome at this former cattle ranching property , and the beautiful surroundings come in a close second. We stayed one night to break our journey from Aus to Sossusvlei, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and suited the weather—rainfall in the desert!
There was a neglected housekeeping issue in a self-catering cottage that I’m sure will be corrected soon. Otherwise, there is a beautiful central lodge building and the S/C cottage is designed to maximize a terrific view.

Individual chalet type accommodation was excellent for a short stopover. Friendly management and staff supported by lodge Staffy. Opportunities to take unaccompanied walks and well maintained pool.
Evening meals were adequate but unmemorable.

The lodge and the house are both very nice. Beautiful view, nice pool, the room is very nice and air-conditioned. You also have space to cook and refrigerate your food. Overall very good facilities.
The food was terrible and extremely overpriced. We paid 400 NAD for fixed meal per person, which was the most expensive dinner and by far the worst we had. The portions were tiny, I went to my room looking for biscuits. If you stay here make sure you cook your own food.

It’s very spacious especially if you have self catering rooms.
Dinner is quiet expensive although the meat was good.
