It was a lovely place and the fixtures and fittings were excellent.
The cooking equipment was very limited. Try to cook a simple spaghetti bol was very challenging and unnecessarily messy.

The location is magical. The grounds extensive and worth a wander. The room and facilities were beyond my expectations, the games room and cinema layouts were a bonus.
I would appreciate receiving my check in info a bit sooner, as the local area has poor signal. I would have been more prepared and that would have made checking in smoother.

That it was located conveniently close to Shrewsbury great base to explore area
Access road and was blocked in one weekend evening due to function where guest parked inconsiderately

Great location, so pretty and perfect for our dog. There are squirrels, ducks, swans and cows, so not ideal if you have a dog that likes to chase wildlife.
Property wise, fantastic size. Everything was clean. Comfortable mattress.
Oven and grill didn’t work. I couldn’t find an outside bin, so not ideal when you have dog poo bags to dispose off.
WiFi disconnected at 21:45 and came back on at 5:45, so I’m wondering if it gets turned off during these hours?
I had an unfortunate incident of our carbon monoxide alarm beeping from 5am, so didn’t get much sleep and made my dog a nervous wreck. I did disconnect it, but it didn’t stop the beeping, so placed it outside, but by then we were awake! An early morning sunrise walk is very pretty though.
There was a recent review from a neighboring cottage who had the same carbon monoxide alarm beeping issue, so I do hope they now change all the alarms , as they’re obviously all about to expire.
