Location is so close to the oakland shoping mall, 5 mins walk brilliant plus the hosts are so kind, considerate and helpful, a great budget low cost and secure loction - you must give it a try as you will love it

Breakafast is not available, but if you buy your own ingrediants there is plenty of cooking utentials and a great comfortable dining area, so bring your own food and enjoy a nice comfortable breakfast experience right outside your room, its very peaceful, clean and very spacious, as is the bedrooms, which makes for a very comfortable stay. There are several comfortable relaxing areas where you can read a book, or just have a mini social gathering with friends or family

The owner is very nice and welcoming. The room was clean. The shower was nice. Bed is comfy. Area is safe.
It is not in a fun area. Do not stay here if you are at all young and want to have fun. Everywhere closes at 8pm, it is a gated community and you need to be let in and out. It is very very quiet and boring. The only thing close to the property is the mall. You have to take an Uber everywhere if you want to go anywhere fun.
There is no ac (!!!) and it gets up to 30 degrees during the day so it is always hot in the room. There is very little privacy as the bedrooms are all of a common room/kitchen and the windows are open for “air”…. The same windows are in the bathroom with no screens so mosquitoes get in. I got a lot of mosquitoes bites because I forgot to close the bathroom door.
I had a very hard time sleeping both nights.
There is a large window with a screen but there’s a street light that shines right into the room (room 4) so you have your pull down the blind to keep the light out but then there is no air flow and the room is so stuffy and hot I could not sleep. They provide you with a very small fan that doesn’t really do anything.
From being bitten by mosquitoes and being too hot to sleep or hang out in the room during the day, with not much to do around you … I would not stay here again. I can’t understand how anyone can sleep with no ac in a hot stuffy room.
Next time I come to Guatemala City, I will stay in zone 4 as zone 10 is very boring and overpriced. Nothing to do with the property but just FYI.
