A 'rural' location in Old Didcot.

Great location in Old Didcot. Central to the town, but surprisingly quiet. Actually felt quite rural. I used to live in Didcot and knew the area very well, so was quite surprised by the rural feel to the area! Enjoyed reading about some of the old houses and looking at the historic pictures in the guest book! The Annex is compact, but has everything a couple will need for a stay there.

Nothing at all to dislike.

Stayed 3 nights. Would definitely stay in the Annex Didcot again. Delightful accommodation.

Location was in a lovely street and very quiet at night. KItchen was well appointed for our needs and there was a lovely Pub approx 50 metres away. Bedroom upstairs was very cosy and comfortable.

A chaise rather than a 2 seater would have provided a little more comfort downstairs and the cushions were a little flat

Lovely Annexe. Liked having the cooking facilities and having bedroom upstairs

First place that did not provide even a starter supply if tea, sugar,coffee and a little milk. Have stayed in over 50 Booking.com and Air BNB places and this was a standard inclusion regardless of price. Just a suggestion.

Cosy, Convenient and would happily stay again.

Above on the keys: they were in a safe location and we received a private email to let us know how and where to collect them, they were very secure. The beds were great, the area was useful, only a 5-10 minute drive from where you wanted to be around didcot/abingdon and the space was lovingly decorated; everything matched and coordinated, it felt thought-out and cared-for. As an apartment it had all expected furnishings and some complimentary water. Decent parking space for one car. TV is a smart TV, so we could log into Streaming services, and there's free wifi with a private password too (i believe separate from the main property). Plenty of space and sockets for appliances and belongings, and a sofa to relax on. Everything looks and feels new

Not that i personally didnt like it, but the bedroom area is a converted attic, so the roof slopes which could be a consideration for some people, it would be tight for two people to get changed or move around, but the ensuite is right next to the bedroom so it's easy to share the space. It was fine for us and we didn't really have problems with it, especially considering the location and furnishings.

Lovely Annex

Lovely place comfortable. Everything you could need. Smart TV fast broadband. Private off road parking Easy walk to pubs and restaurants. Very friendly host. Not intrusive though. We had a brilliant stay visiting friends in the area

Nothing it was just perfect for us. The Annex is on a lovely street in old Didcot. Easy walk to the railway station.

More an observation than a dislike - restricted headroom in the bedroom and bathroom, a bigger kettle and tea pot.

The Annex is situated in a very quiet part of Didcot. We loved it there and will definitely book again

brialliant little place pleasent very clean and very comfatable

we came down too see our son and daughter in law and this place is only around corner from them it was very nice clean pleasent place very tidy very quiet and so easy great all round i will certainly look to book again wheni am down to see family again

Very accommodating and central

It was a self contained unit, very clean and accessible. All we needed for our trip

The ceilings in the bedroom/bathroom were low Also wish there was a glass/tumbler in the bathroom. We tried to use the one from the kitchen but as it was a small sink in the bathroom it was difficult to use

The Annex was a great place to stay for a couple days and would definitely recommend it to friend

Great that the Annex had parking and the property was well furnished, comfy and clean. The location was in a quaint part of Didcot so was nice and quiet. Close enough to all sorts of facilities should you wish them and also fairly central so good for visiting the many other places on offer in the Oxfordshire area.

We found the check in time a little disappointing, 2pm would have been more reasonable. Other than that nothing else to dislike about the property, the owners have done a very thoughtful job on the layout and contents of it.

Perfect for weekend in Didcot

The Annex was an excellent place to stay for our weekend in Didcot. The check in process was easy, and the owners were really helpful, and even let us check in a little early. Overall it was perfect for what we needed, with space to cook, chill and sleep. It was finished to a really high standard and was very clean and comfortable. The location is also fantastic, being in the pretty Old Didcot and within easy reach of everything.

This annex is a brilliant size. It is in a lovely location and there is parking on the drive for 1 car which is handy. The decor inside is lovely and gives the place a homely feel. great facilities with everything you could need!

Unfortunately the shower temperature tap was stuck on hot. I’m sure if we would have messaged the owners that they would have attempted to fix this so that is down to us. Cleanliness of the annex could be improved slightly. There was a lot of lime scale around the tap sink in the bathroom, spider in the fridge, some food down by the side of the bed. The tap water was also not drinkable, im not sure why but we had to go and buy bottled water.

The Annex is clean, cosy and comfy and had everything you could want for a few nights stay away from home. Will definitely return next time we visit family in Didcot!

So lucky to find this place which has been the perfect place to stay whilst in Didcot on family duiies.

This property is really lovely. it is well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Access was very easy on arrival and there was excellent communication regarding access before arrival. The property was cosy and warm.

wish we could live here! beautiful property.

very well presented and had everything we needed. John the host was very polite and helpful. just 5 minutes walk from Didcot train station meant we could be in Oxford within 20 minutes door to door. main shopping street just 10 minutes walk which includes a Cineworld cinema.

nothing - it was all great!
