Great place to stay

The hotel room and bathroom were very nice overall.

However, the only downside was that the LED lights in our bathroom were stuck on flashing mode, and unfortunately, the remote for controlling them had a dead battery. This issue was quite annoying during our stay. In the future, I would suggest ensuring that during room checks, the remotes are working properly and that the mode isn't set to flashing inadvertently.

Great stay, fresh looking hotel

Nathan behind the counter was very nice, helped us with recommendations in the area, and was an overall nice guy. The room was clean and fresh. We loved the customisable LED colour strips too.

The only issue we had was minor, and definitely a personal preference. But when we walked in, the room was so hot. It wasn't hot outside either so this was strange to us. There was an extractor fan/vent outside the balcony so we couldn't open the window to cool the room down as this was loud and smelly.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Could not turn of the bathroom light. Skylight to bright in the morning. Bed quite hard. No restaurant, ans sister hotel takeaway/delivery very limited and the app not good.

Excellent value stay.

We were contacted by the hotel asking what time we would arrive. As we were running late, we were given out of hours check-in details. Everything was explained really well, and we found our room with no issues. The room was spotless and perfectly presented. The room includes modern touches such as mood lighting (which I loved) and a large television. The bed was a good size and very comfortable.

The floors were very creaky, which I guess is down to it being an old building. The bathroom door was stiff. The windows are single glazed, so there is a lot of nightlife noise coming from outside. However, this is easily sorted with earplugs!

Really liked it and would certainly stay there again.

Very clean and very comfortable, staff were also very friendly and knowledgable about the area.

It is in a relatively run down area of the town and there is no hotel parking.

Friendly sensible accommodation for our needs as short stay visitors.

Met our needs perfectly and great clean comfortable room.

everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean and staff very friendly and welcoming. location was perfect for us for the start of the half marathon and late checkout meant we could come back and chill out and shower before our journey home.

there was a little noise from the road earlier in the evening as it’s the high st but no problems overnight.

Exceptional

Perfectely located for my needs. Staff are incredibly lovely, engaging and welcoming. Smooth check-in. Communal areas downstors for the self service continental breakfast are modern, fresh and clean. Rooms are spacious, well thought and clean. Perfectly quiet too, was not disturbed once by outside noises, or from other guests, which is amazing. Great shower, comfortable bed. Half the price of where I have more often stayed, but The Stanley has proved far better.. I am going home feeling well rested, and already looking at dates for my next stay.

Lovely Hotel well placed for easy stroll into the centre of Boston and eateries, a bright lovely room . Very comfortable bed slept well. breakfast is good with a wide range of choices.. Will deinitely return .

Poor flush to toilet... No coathangers reported to reception.
