Meh

The room decor was nice it was freshly decorated to a high standard The shower room was excellent

Car parking was a joke I arrived and could not park due to inconsiderate guests taking up more than once space and I had to reverse out onto a main road twice. They should forget advertising they have a car park. There is no disabled parking either by the way. Also it is imperative you hand over your credit card in case you damage the room. Never in my life have I been asked to do this. Unsure of their card detail holding protocol but I would question this. I felt uncomfortable with this and it made me feel not welcome or valued. The room was nice. The bedding was cheap I was cold due to the thinness of the duvet. The bottom sheets were hard and the flat sheet on the mattress came off so the bed was not well made. Breakfast was fine continental and ok. Evening meal was fine too. Small details need attended to and it would be a great stay. But I found it quite unwelcoming to be honest.

A gem in Boston

It’s beautifully done out with lovely decor. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was immaculate. Bathroom was definitely 5 star We ate in the restaurant and the meals were so good a great menu with lots of choice cooked beautifully.

very noisy bar customers shouting bad language most evenings in the lounge and restaurant. I had to report this to the management of the property…

Nice staff and well-equipped room, good price

Smiling, helpful staff, warm comfortable room with coffee & teamaking facilities and a fridge, private car park, good breakfast. The room details said private external bathroom, but my room was ensuite.

Exceptional value and very high quality.

Extremely well finished, clean, tidy and very well presented. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Bar is great with a log fire and nice atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The beer and cocktails were all wonderful.

Ok Stay

Location was good apart from the road was closed due to roadworks. Breakfast was ok

There was no seating in the room apart from the bed which was a shame. And a fridge in the room next to a radiator. Very random

Great wee stay over

Staff were excellent. Made the stay better than anticipated. The continental breakfast had a very good and varied selection, better than any premier in or Travelodge. The room was as expected and there was a good selection of coffee and uht milks. Be aware that the bedroom door needs to be manually locked, it doesn't automatically lock when you leave.

Hotel provided nescafe decaf but the normal coffee wasn't a brand and didn't taste very nice

A real hidden gem

The hotel was stunning and a real hidden gem, the room was fantastic and a great size given the duration of our visit. The real standout of the hotel was Madison, she went above and beyond and no matter what we asked she was always very helpful and pleasant.

Exceptional

Loved the friendly and helpful staff. Beds comfortable, spacious room/ ensuite. Restaurant - food very good and tasty. Location good, ample parking on site. Manager Lewis was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Same with the chef, great GF dinners and breakfasts provided. Morning lady at breakfast so kind and helpful too. Great team. Hotel is certainly a gem in Boston.

Website does not state breakfast is only Continental Mon - Fri. Cooked breakfast available at extra cost on sat,/sun only. Website also states a damage deposit is deducted on check in - incorrect, not taken. Limited restaurants in Boston and unsure of personal safety in evenings.

Exceptional

On arrival, l met a nice young man, who went out of his way to make sure our accommodation was suitable and met our needs? Amazing bathroom with shower..... King-size bed made all the difference our move was complete! The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice, for a vegetarian... l would stay again

What l would say his, to mention that there isn't a lift and if the person can't climb the stairs and they are mother and daughter or father and son. Then the king-size bed would be suitable (plenty of room)

job to add any thing else but thanks to lovely staff

when i got my head round how to gain entry a phone call soon sorted that had meals in wow food a1 service and staff could not fault .would i stay again YES. the hotel far exceeded what i was expecting well done and thank you TONY

it was a little bit off a walk to the venue we was going too , but wasn’t that bad , the town was a little walk away too

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Food was very good.

The room was far too small to claim it as a deluxe room, which was how it was described when we checked in. No option of a cooked breakfast on the first morning of our stay, and disappointed to find that a cooked breakfast, when it is available it incurs an extra charge as it is not included in the 'included breakfast' package that we booked.

A Curates Egg - avoid upstairs rooms if you are tall and take some ear plugs!

It was clean, convenient - very warm - nice decor. Goodish food and better than expected breakfast options. The latter would be better described as "cold options only", there was a good selection of fruit, breads, cereals and cold meats etc. The room was v warm in fact I turned radiator down and had window open on one of coldest nights of the year! Bar/restaurant food was good and tasty when it arrived, it was a long wait for the starter.

Three big problems and some minor ones. Worst was the thin walls. I could hear my neighbour snoring or breathing v heavily. I snore too so perhaps he suffered too. Next was the loo situated under the eaves. I am over 6' and had to sit down every time I needed to use the loo. Other issues perhaps reflect on poor maintenance: hot water in sink not working, side light with dead bulb, bedside light with no dongle.
