What a lovely hotel amidst the peaceful setting in the Swiss Alps (and right on the Italian border). I spent a very relaxing and resourcing winter weekend here and fully enjoyed my short stay. The setting is just beautiful - close to amazing ski resorts, but itself located in a very old, picturesque Swiss village which is very calm and on the crossroad of many hiking trails. There is a 1000-year-old church just around the corner. The famous pilgrimage route Via Francigena also passes through here. The property was cozy, comfortable, calm, clean and overall very enjoyable to spend time in. I particularly enjoyed the common area with lots and lots of books, including trekking guides for the area! Thank you for a warm welcome and a pleasant stay, I will definitely come back.

The owner contacted me from Brasil to make sure I got in. The place looks nice and has potential to be good. Very clean, bed and dorm was nice. Great location on the Via Francigena

It was closed and I did not get the code to enter. The shower was ice cold. It's not fair for me to rate this property during Covid recovery as it did state that certain levels of service might not be normal or available. I would try to call them again and confirm once they were fully open before deciding on staying here again. I would give them a chance under normal circumstances.
